No. I really don't. In 2006 I was told my team's program was dead in the water and would never be among the elite teams ever again. Three years later, we win a national championship.

Well even if you're right, we're only talking about 2013 right now so even if Tennessee is 2006 Alabama, 2007 Alabama wasn't much better. We're talking about solely 2013 right now.

A&M gets Mizzou and Vandy. Seems like giving Alabama Gene and Bear is paying off.

Gotta read the fine print. If you win against either LSU or Bama this year, you get at Florida at South Carolina instead.

Its only fair that way.

They're gonna suck arse like they always do. Tennessee's problem is Derek Dooley. If they still had Lane Kiffin they'd be a Top 15 program right now.

You were seriously offended by me saying your tears were going to flood LA? Why, because of Katrina? Wasn't even thinking about that. shite was terrible but it happened a long time ago. Cry me a river, your tears are going to flood... are common expressions. Sorry to offend you, but try not to be so damn sensitive.

I thought you were subtly trolling. If you weren't, I apologize. It wouldn't be the first time someone has cracked a flooding joke.

But '07 Alabama still managed to blow out a 10-win, Eastern Division champion Tennessee team by the score of 41-17.

Unlike whiny LSU, Auburn wants to play Florida and Georgia every year.

Sure you do. What difference does it make to Auburn if you're never competing for the West anyway?

You know in a couple years, when the teams rotate on and off, LSU won't be playing UGA or USC in two straight years and Alabama will.

I submit that it will be a long time that Bamas East opponents look tougher than LSUs.

Say they fire Dooley and actually turn around and become a competitive team

If they fire theyre coach, they wont get better in one year.

but they could be competitive

No they cant be, the only thing that makes them appear to be competitive this year is Bray. Dooley gets the ax, Bray is gone.

I think the game on Saturday will be more competitive then people think.

Tennessee isn't beating you 41-17 next year, i don't care who they hire

This really isn't about the long term viability or lack therof of the UT-Alabama game. This is about 2013 only and of the two major contenders in the SEC West, one has been given a MUCH easier path to Atlanta than the other.

UT is about to hit an all time low for at least 2 years. Another coach gone and losing Braysus. It's gonna get ugly for a minute.

Enjoy them Bama.

And I'm not disputing that. I wish our schedule was tougher. I'd kill to have to play Florida every year like you guys do. It's a shame we can't have two permanent cross division rivals.

Yep. But "we gotta preserve the Bama/Tennessee rivalry!!"

Hell I wont lie, if we had a steady rival with an AWFUL eastern team i'd raise hell to keep them on the schedule too, problem is Slive and his Bham cronies would never allow it.

We'll be having this argument 10 years from now with Alabama fans still saying they are about to get good again

When you are 7-0 going into the MSU game and the best team youve played so far is WKU, no you dont.

So Michigan isn't a good team? Their only 2 losses were to us and a Top 5 Notre Dame team.

Crybaby bitches

Yes, but they don't want the same to apply to them. lol

2009 LSU played 3 ranked teams the entire regular season. Those were Georgia, Florida, and Alabama.

2009 Alabama played 4 ranked teams the entire regular season.

2010 LSU played 6 ranked teams during reg season.
2010 Alabama played 7 ranked teams during the reg season.

2010 Alabama played Florida, SC, and TN - all teams from teh east. The same year LSU played, Vanderbilt, TN and Florida - all teams from the east.

Looks to me LSU has had the easier road plenty of times. Time to take off the tinfoil hat, girls.
