I guess the only defense in the Pac 12 might be Stanford.

West coast football is all about the offense. The SEC knows defense wins championships.

Nope Washington is pretty damn stout. They finished first in the PAC in total defense and scoring defense.
They finished 13th in the country in scoring defense, and played against 6 teams in the top 20 of scoring offense (3 in the top 15). 9 of their 12 FBS opponents were in the top 50 of scoring offenses.
They finished 31st in the country in total defense, and played against 7 teams in the top 25 of total offense (5 in the top 16). 9 of their 12 FBS opponents were in the top 40 of total offense.
Washington brings back 8 of those guys from that defense. 2015 true freshman QB (63.1% 2955 yards 16 TDs 10 ints) Browning, and true freshman RB (1302 yards 5.74 ypc 14 TDs) Gaskins, are back along with their 2014 playmaker/WR and kick return ace Ross (who was injured in 2015), 2 of their 3 starting WRs, and 4 of 5 on the OL. Their 2 backup TEs accounted for 24 receptions 295 yards and 3 TDs.
I keep telling people that Washington is going to be a force this year. I got them at 10-2 and likely winning the Pac 12 North.

The season hasn't even fricken started yet. Don't be stupid. We don't know how good 99% of teams will be. The Pac 12 is the second most talented conference. I'm sure there will be more than one stout defense out that way.

What does that have to do with the SEC?

Does that mean Bama will have a terrible offense then?
