You just proved my point...

You don't see the real problem. It is the main reason why Saban quit.

Saban testified under oath in front of congress as to why he retired. It's not a mystery.

Say you don’t know how bama fans are without saying.
We have an extremely high standard.
We trash talk any coach in our program that doesn’t perform. Game to game, season to season.
Crazy if you don’t think even Saban caught criticism

Are you pleased with Bama's results this season?

In the advanced stats Alabama is basically the same as last year overall. Alabama was not a top team last year despite making the playoffs. Rated #7 in F+ last year and again this year.

This despite him trying to install a new offense and defense, while losing a few top players due to Saban retiring.

With better QB play, Alabama could be undefeated.

All the bragging about how superior the old SEC West teams were.

Georgia lost to both Alabama and Ole Miss.

If it was divisions, that would be 2 losses in the West division and Geogia wouldn't have made the SECCG.

You went from "Haven't lost a regular season game in blah blah blah" to having 2 losses to former SEC West teams. And they weren't even close games really outside the comeback against Alabama in desperation for the entire 2nd half.

Saban wasn't about to trash Bama for making that deal.

Regardless of who DeBoer is replaced with, the problem still remains for the next decade.

Do I feel sorry for Bama... Nope.

Yeah, he was going to commit a federal offense in order to prevent on speaking about some stupid deal.

You're a fricking retard.

Georgia beat Tennessee so the old East representative would have been Georgia.

Bingo.

If you were in the west you are probably the 3rd best team, but over in the east you are in the SECCG.

And who exactly would prove him wrong... as opposed to facing a possible lawsuit?

Just keep believing that this is an easy fix.......

An old SEC West team didn't make it to Atlanta, so you had no shot at the trophy from the outset.

You have to be one of the dumbest people to visit this forum and that's saying something.

If that continues to happen Alabama will be looking for a new head coach. As someone has pointed out, we are not an understanding fanbase, willing to watch the program slip for long. 3 years is the limit

But it is also the reason why Alabama has won at least 1 NC every decade since the 1920's (except the 50's and 80's)

The fanbase isn't the reason Alabama has won a lot

Name calling won't fix it either.

Anyone that you replace DeBoer with will face that same dilemma.

It’s pretty simple to understand. The loudest trash talkers on this forum are also the dumbest. Dumb people do not know or recognize when they’re being dumb, and therefore do not know when to shut up

I find it interesting that Maximus Aurelius Desimus looked at Comitus and said “the time for honoring yourself will soon be at an end”

I’m sorry my dude, but if you don’t think there will be a drop off at Bama based on losing the GOAT, NIL and the portal, I’m not sure what to tell you.

If I were a betting man I’d bet my home that the new coach won’t duplicate the type of success Saban had at Bama

Now, I know there are scores of you who believe Bama made the Bear and Saban, and that’s fine to believe it.

But it’s simply not true.

We knew there would be a drop-off after Coach Saban just as we knew there would be a drop-off after Coach Bryant. However Alabama has had 5 NC winning coaches and 4 of them won multiple NC.

If you think that Alabama will not find another NC winning coach you are fooling yourself. !00 years of Alabama football and 18 titles tells you different.

It is not an easy fix, you are correct. However Alabama has proven time and time again that it knows how to correct itself. I will state it again, since the 1920's Alabama has won at least 1 NC every decade except the 50's and 80's (see Alabama fix it both times)
