I felt better after the Florida game than I did after last night

Any other Bama fans feel that way? UF was the monkey on our back and we spent an entire year preparing ourselves to beat them. When they did, it was a thing of beauty. The win was nearly flawless. I was as high as a kite after that game.

I really think what Saban said about the US hockey match against Russia is very true. We beat Russia in the SECCG and we beat Finland last night. It was an ugly game, but we won when we had to. Anyone else feel that way?

Saban got them ready for this game AFTER a HUGE win over FLA. Props to Saban. But if you can't feel very well about winning a championship, you need to check your pulse.

First, I'm as excited as I can be about winning the NCCG. That is not my point. Check Saban's expression after the NC game and after the SECCG. Saban felt the same way.

FLA Is better than Texas but not by much. However FLA had there shot at Bama and blew it. If they had played against Bama like they did against Cinncy they would have crushed them. AND I am glad Bama won BUT If McCoy doesn't get hurt....................

Texas probably wouldn't have won with McCoy.

It probably felt better to beat UF cause Tebow cried at the end.

Everyone seems to cherish those moments.

I felt better after the Florida win as well. Living in Texas all I've heard today is, "if Colt had played" blah blah blah.

Its a little more bitter sweet than the Florida win which w as just super duper sugary sweet. Maybe it was Tim crying as someone said, that was sweet!

I think everyone felt the best team was Florida and that this one was a forgone conclusion. I think the sloppiness starting out and letting them get back into it is what has given most that feeling. I think if McElroy had been healthy, he tosses for about a buck fifty and we don't feel this way.

No, you're not the only one. Florida was a much more satisfying win. Alabama dominated them for all four quarters instead of barely holding on to beat a McCoy-less Texas team. Heck according to an ESPN poll, 54% of the country didn't think we would have beaten them with a healthy McCoy. It was a pretty unsatisfying win considering everything that was at stake.

I think had we kept our foot on their throat and squashed them like we should have no one cares but this I do know get used to this because when SDaban gets a big lead you will see 3 ho up the middle and let the D hold them. Against some of the sec offenses that is ok but against a team like Texas or Fla you better run your offense. The cut back we kept running was getting 10yds a clip and we went straight to dive up the middle even after they were loading the box. When we would decide to run everything and keep them honest we moved the ball well.

"I think if McElroy had been healthy, he tosses for about a buck fifty and we don't feel this way."

I think everyone had felt better if Mccoy and McElroy were both healthy.

I was furious at the beginning of the game when Mccoy went down, and I went to bed once I knew that he wasnt coming back.

And it's not because I wanted Texas to win either. It's because this was one of the few times when football is pure entertaiment for me. UF games = stress.

Anyway, I felt like it was a huge boxing match on pay per view, and they stop the fight in the first round, because one of the fighters gets a nasty cut due to a head butt.

The SECCG was a perfect win. I felt strangely dissatisfied with the win last night. Extremely happy that we won and feel there's pretty much no doubt that we're the indisputable NCs, but the performance only lent fuel to the haters.*

screw that I am not letting anyone suck the joy out of this for me. He was hurt not because he tripped over the 30 yd line but because he was hit. Its part of the game and I guarantee you they didnt care when ingram wasnt in there. They didnt care that Hightower was out either
