Folks, I rarely post about anything (I read this board alot because I have a lot of LSU friends), but this one feels good. I felt like a 5 year old at Christmas. I'm a Rebel, always have been, always will be.The Harp beer is flowing here in Kansas. It's about time we won one (after the Eli era)and I hope it continues.

Alabama hasn't beaten a top SEC school yet

Way to go, Johnnie Reb. Impressive!

That's fine, and thank y'all for the congratulations. Although those should be directed to the team because I'm a 44 yr old fan that played HS football a long time ago. And, yes I expect an arse whippen at LSU but . . . . I also expected one today. And for what it is worth, I'll be there in Tiger Stadium, tailgating with my Tiger friends and pulling for the improbable, a Rebel win (which I have seen but it's been awhile).

Snead's a good QB imo.. but he's not Eli.

You are right , he's not Eli . . . but who is. Snead has had some rough times this year, a Sophomore, I think he'll come around and be a good QB bf his time is up. I never predict the future of young football players (NFL is loaded with small college players). How good? He had a bad spat today, threw an 86 yard TD pass on a 3rd and 6 (clutch) who knows. It's the SEC. The Rebs can lose to Vandy at home (Snead a really bad day) and beat Florida in the Swamp.

Savor any victories you get, no matter how big or small. It keeps the bastards from wearing you down.

football is about victory and defeat, there is no middle ground which is what is so beautiful
