Why do you now think DJH goes to UF?

Well Oregon is probably the worst matchup against LSU. LSU stops pro style offenses really well but the spread is tough for Chavis. Also your DT's are going to get ate up. Oregon will eventually wear them down.

Oregon won't put up more than 20pts.

Alabama is just a better team. It's gonna tough for LSU to score against the tide and I think Richardson has a solid game.

We'll see. Jefferson had his best game against that secondary so..... we shall see.

Arkansas is the most complete team in conference. You couldn't really shut them down last year and you won't this year either.

Meh, I'm not buying the Wilson hype over one game against one of the worst secondaries in the league last year.

Miss State and Ole Miss will have two of better run games in SEC and you have to go on road to play them.

We'll be able to wear both of these teams down. You forget that we have one of the most experienced o-lines in the league along with some stud RBs.

I do like how you're completely downplaying what we have returning.

I like to pretend that Les Miles knew subbing on the last play vs Tennessee would cause us so much confusion that we would leave two extra players on the field, meaning everything worked to perfection.

Pretty impressive for a kicker.

The Lou Groza award somehow disagrees.

The Wilson love reminds me a lot of how people talked about Jefferson after the 2008 Peach Bowl

No kidding. Can you say "small sample size?"

It was one game. Sure, he showed off his great arm. But it came against a weak passing defense. AND, in the end he imploded.

Arky fans will tell you that one of those was the receivers' fault. I'm sure on any INT you can spread the blame a little.

He's always been a Gator lean, and I'm just hearing a lot of confidence from Florida people in the know (i.e., they're very comfortable in saying DJ is headed to Gainesville) and a lot of uncertainty from Tennessee people in the know.

Breakdown of Oregon-LSU game.

When Oregon has ball- Oregon is all about run game and always will be. LSU is replacing DT's and best LB in Sheppard. Also Oregon is replacing some O-Line and WR's. The difference is Thomas. I think he makes a big jump in second year at starter and has a big game. LSU lacks the stong push inside to disrupt Oregon's read offense. Thomas will have enough time to look at defense and make right decision. Advantage- Oregon

When LSU has ball- If LSU is going to win they have to score points. I think they might score between 20-27 points but I don't think it will be enough. LSU should have a big advantage running the ball behind experienced O-Line and talented group of backs. It comes down to Jefferson and I say he makes enough mistakes to offset LSU's powerful run game.- Advatage-LSU slightly

I say Oregon wins 35-24.

I went to one University of Tennessee's satelite campuses. All my high school friends were going there so I went there instead of UT Knoxville.

When Greg McElroy throws for 400 yards against a Defense, that's a pretty weak Defense.

Josh missed too many actual kicks last year for the Groza. He had the best fg% in the SEC (about 84%), but I'm pretty sure he missed 4 or 5 kicks, some of which were pretty important.

BTW, the Groza award winner made 100% of his kicks last year (Ok. State's kicker).

LSU is the most overrated team in the country. They will lose the first game against Oregon badly. Chavis can't stop teams that run the ball out of spread and LSU doesn't have the defensive line to hold up. I say Oregon wins by 14. I just don't understand why people think they will be so good.Arkansas and Alabama are both better than the tigers. That's three losses plus they will lose two more between the games of:Miss st,Ole Miss,Tenn, and West Virginia. I think they go 7-5 if they are lucky.

Well, that settles it. we shouldn't even play the season. if only we could compete with bama, arkansas, oregon, ole miss, and west virginia.

I believe it was Bon Jovi in :"Shot Through the Heart" that said Luck Ain't Even Lucky, You Gotta Make Your Own Breaks. That is the perfect line to describe Les Miles
