If you repeat a lie enough times you may start believing it is true.

A&M has been on the brink of turning the corner for the last 80 years. They have more "home run" coaching hires and conference moves than the entire FBS combined. They have produced nothing.

While I obviously enjoyed beating LSU last year, 74-72 is not a "super bowl" type win. It's merely the best troll ever. Hell, that whole game was one nice long 7OT troll of LSU.

It's over...time to get our shite together so we can beat you in such a way that you accept it .

Btw, couldn't be happier to be here.

I do get tired of the Alabama crush, but I expect when they are competitive for the West, that shite will change.

Nah, c'mon. You know that's not true for 2 reasons:

1. Lack of hate does NOT amount to love. Just because we share a distinct history with Alabama and don't sit around wishing all Alabama fans would burn in hell, does not mean we are closet mullet-wearing RTR-tards. In other words, not sharing your perception of what you may consider the extreme depths of hatred does not equal love on our part.

2. Neither you, nor LSU/Tennessee fans have a REAL reason to hate Alabama as an institution and the totality of its alum/fan base in everyday life, off the field, away from sports.

I think Tennessee/LSU/Auburn fans are mistaking our mutual respect and shared past with Alabama for a man-love crush (but the reality is that we a man-crush on all dudes because we want to have gay anus sex with them, because Aggy, :buffalobilllipstickwouldyoufrickme: ).

When Bear came to Aggy from Kentucky, he was the best coach our program had in 15 years, and turned things around in a few short years. When he left A&M for Alabama, no one could really blame him. Aggy was a poor all male, military college that oozed misery and sheep fricking. A&M had no women and a mandatory grunt lifestyle that made it a shitty place to play football for anyone with any real talent. Alabama was a much more attractive destination. Add to that the fact that Bear attended and played football for Alabama and that Alabama is ultimately where he wanted to be, and it was nothing more than inevitability.

We have a shared history because one of Bear's A&M players (Junction Boy Gene Stallings) coached A&M to victory over Alabama and his former coach in a Cotton Bowl, then went on to coach at Alabama (again, as HC) and win a NC. There are clear mutual historical ties.

Does that mean we don't want to beat them every time we play? Hell no! Who wouldn't want to beat Alabama?

I know it is common and stylish on tRant shite-talk Aggi es for perceived Crimson dickriding, but that is simply misunderstanding lack of genuine hate for love. Many of us were actually laughing our asses off last year when Alabama players said (with typical Alabama arrogance) that Clemson didn't really win. Rather "we beat ourselves" (by 4 touchdowns). I know many of us were secretly rooting for LSU to win in Tuscaloosa this year (but, frickLSU®) and I was glad to see Auburn's gutsy performance in the Iron Bowl to pull off a much-deserved win.

But, it appears to me that most Tennessee/LSU/Auburn hate for Alabama is reserved for the field/court of play. If it is not sports-related, most Tenn/LSU/Auburn fans don't really give a frick about Alabama as an institution or its alumni. It's not the general off-the-field, murderous, existential war-type hate we Aggies have experienced and continue to experience today (to a much lesser extent). Tenn/LSU/Auburn hate for Alabama is certainly not the same as the hate generated from having the huge alumni base of one in-state institution using all available resources and political power to literally undermine, weaken, and literally attempt to permanently shut down the other institution going back for an entire century. The bullshite many SEC fans witnessed in 2010-2011 is the mere tip of the motherfricking iceberg.

So, I guess the level of hate Tenn/LSU/Auburn fans have for Alabama can best be described (in Auburn terms) as follows:

"Bo don't know hate."

(TL:DR--frickLSU®)

It’s one of two things:
(a) envy of our Whataburger taquito taxi on campus;

and/or

(b) intimidation from the bazillions of squirrels that cover campus.

Nothing else makes sense.
We’re just a friendly, lovable people.

Really? Are you fricking serious? As delusional as fricking longhorn fans?

Longhorn fans actually believe that the SEC would kick out Alabama, LSU, Georgia, and Tennessee to admit their program. They actually believe some of the bullshite fodder we playfully throw around on tRant, like joking that we will just buy LSU with all our money. Those frickers ACTUALLY BELIEVE that the univerisity of texas could back a c130 full of cash to the louisiana legislature and purchase LSU, without batting an eyelash.

We have the arrogance of Alabama fans not because we believe A&M is vastly superior to all other institutions (it is), but because we are Texans. Being Aggies got nothin' to do with it. You should know this, William.

Texans are the most arrogant people ever to walk the face of the Earth, and rightfully so, because frick you, we're from Texas.

I'm gonna need a link on the "expectations of Patriot Fans" or I am calling bullshite.

Stupidity of Missouri fans? That depends on the subject matter.

Either way, kiss my arse, Will. You hate Aggy because you are a closet fudge-packing longhorn pussy. Admit it, you t-sipping varmint.

They're as arrogant as Texas fans (which is admittedly way too arrogant), yet have none of the tangible accomplishments that Texas has (which is admittedly not as many as numerous programs)

Coupled with the fact Texas is their one and only rival and has kicked their arse in everything for 100+ years, it exacerbates their reaching when discussing sports topics. It's pretty adorable until their delusion completely takes over

Lol honestly a pretty accurate way to put it. I know I can be pretty insufferable speaking about the state, almost to a point of pride.

Almost?
All true Texans are insufferably prideful.

It isn’t our fault the SEC has lower standards for claiming national titles.

After an expensive, meh season, they're camped out in the woods again.

Expect them to be back in the offseason....wait, LSU and Clemson are the only ones not in the offseason.

We have one national championship in football.
99% of Ags acknowledge that reality.
The remaining 1% are rascals.
Don’t get too worked up over it.
