I like UCLA just because they aren't USC and I need someone over there to knock USC around a bit. They haven't been very successful in recent years.

My forecast isn't showing rain till around 3am, but I am on the east side of Bham. It is getting pretty close though. I am debating whether I should stay up or go to bed.

Rain just started. By the radar, it looks like the worst of the first wave will pass north of me (over the mountain area)

to be perfectly honest with you, I have never even heard of it until now. Sorry I couldn't be of any use.

Yeah, it looks like I might get the tail end of that first wave, but most of the bad shite is north of me. I'll probably just get some wind and rain.

Arkansas is a special case.
I think another thing that is different about Arkansas is that we still aren't totally used to liking anybody in our league. Sure, most of our fans have been SEC fans for most of their lives at this point, but those attitudes get passed down. I know my dad instilled almost knee-jerk fandom in me, just by being around him watching games growing up.
Arkansas came up where EVERYBODY was the enemy. Everybody was in "the other state" and had some kind of common culture and identity that we didn't claim. That led to kind of a "frick everybody" and "we're outsiders and we like it that way" mentality.
So when other fans have thrown little jabs at Arkansas about not being "a real SEC school" over the years, that kind of resonates with the past of the program and its actually kind of energizing. It feeds that "frick the rest of you" mentality that our program always had.
We can be insufferable at times, but its more about being independent and not answering to anybody, or looking up to anybody. We've always been outsiders in our mind. And we aren't really looking for friends.
Its not as bad as it used to be, because there are definitely SEC programs I don't hate. But the roots of that attitude come from being in the unique situation that we were in---the only non-Texans in a Texas world.
It was kind of like being Scotland to England. The little people who fought fiercely against the giants with the vast global empire next door.
TLDR = We're assholes. Sorry for partying.
