Their running game is what butters the bread. They have a freshman QB who can be rattled into mistakes. Like I said, solid win for y’all despite what many folks say about ND on these boards.

That’s the perception, but the reality is the QB rating for this Freshman ND QB is really damn good also.
It’s surprising how poised he is. He’s got weapons on the outside to throw to which compliment their stellar run game.
If ND loses to USC then I’ll re-assess.
USC seems to be improved.
But I expect the ND offense to keep humming and put up yards and points.

A lot of people were saying the same thing about OU before the Texas game. I still think A&M is a better team than OU, but everyone was saying they had two massive wins vs unranked Michigan and Auburn, which we now know have bad offenses.
They crowned their D the 85 Bears for dominating Illinois St, Michigan, Temple, Auburn and Kent State. The best offense on that list is Michigan at 50th. Smoke and mirrors.
