The last chance to take the field for the next year and you don't think they'll be pumped to smash one of the best teams in the ACC? I think they house them.

According to Twitter, our players are pretty excited about the game.

Too bad some of our shitty fans can't be happy too.

The guys want a strong finish to the year. They'll be ready I think.

I guarantee Sam Montgomery will be pumped. After y'all beat us, Sam said the fact that he was playing against his home state gave him a little extra motivation and how when ever he goes back to SC he can always say "I beat y'all the one time we played." Or something like that. I hope he has a Clowney-like performance against Clemson. I will be one HUGE Tiger fan that day, LSU Tiger fan of course.

I am happy to play in a bowl, period.

I just wish we drew a better team than Clemson.

This is the worst matchup since the 06 team drew Notre Dame

Clemson is soft. Safeties must not fall for all the stupid fakes in the backfield and stay deep. CBs should play tight man and their 2 wideouts not nearly effective. Clemson D will get abused by LSU Oline and RBs. 20 point game unless Miles starts chewing the GA Dome turf.

I agree that it's not the best bowl. I wasn't talking about you, fwiw. I'm talking about the ones whining about not going and not watching, etc. it's easy to see who jumped on the 2003 NC bandwagon and who is quick to jump off.

shite, when I was in college, we were happy as hell to make it to the Peach Bowl.

If LSU's offense shows up at all, this game won't be close. Clemson doesn't see defenses anywhere near LSU's. Their QB will be running for his life. If LSU can move the ball a bit on offense, they should win by 20.

Clemson isn't a good matchup for LSU right now. Hopefully the defense get's the kinks worked out over the next month.

it's not a big name bowl, but Clemson is a 10 win, top 15 opponent. Should be a good game as far as the fans are concerned.

And really, would the cotton bowl have been any better when looking at the opponents? OU and Clemson are about equal: same record, very close in the rankings, both pass it 50x/game, both have mediocre defenses, etc.

With LSU's defense they will pound Clemson. And your offense will just run it down their throats. Carolina held their all world offense to 17 and don't see them doing any better if as good against LSU. LSU will control this game and dominate!
