For the first time I am having some doubts. Not because of the biased reasons stated by some of you here. Tennessee certainly has the assets to be a solid power. But because of the institutional political correctness letting the animals run the zoo and all the foolishness that’s goes with it. I should know. As a Vandy fan I have watched in horror as the University blurs the distinction between the sexes and consequently devalues the masculine game of football. They have also destroyed State pride for global pride giving no foundation for local community pride. Tennessee seems to be on the same trajectory. We shall see.

One doesn't even need a Vandy degree to understand that this is a pitiful, just woefully inaccurate accounting of what ills Tennessee’s football program.

No one really cares about the LSU/Alabama rivalry either. After eight straight losses and soon to be 9, that’s what happens.

I find it a little odd that the demise of UT football started with a certain Alabama booster’s death. I think his ghost is haunting Rocky Top.

Tennessee will never be good at football again and that’s okay.

Yep. Really can’t complain how VOLS pivoted into a basketball school. Ram style football will likely be banned in America within the next 20 years anyways iyam

Made a bet with a buddy of mine over the summer that VOLS will make a Final Four before a CFP (or Final 4 of CFP if it expands). Loser owes the winner $2500.

I like my side of the bet but the most likely outcome of the bet is we both die before the bet is decided.

I’d be hostile toward a coach that owned my team for a dozen years or so too.

The Tennessee football program fell up some stairs.

I am sad that NBamaAlum is not here to opine on this.
