Hypothetical Question For Aggies

In a couple of years you'll be playing Texas every season again. Which would you rather do:
1. Win the SEC Championship while losing to Texas or,
2. Finish middle of the pack but destroy Texas thus knocking them out of the SECCG?

You're correct, but not for the reasons you think.
A&M won't lose to t.u.
t.u. won't be in a position to be in the SEC title game, so a win over them wouldn't knock them out of contention.

If #1 is happening then most likely we're beating tu every year or at least most years. And this is such a pointless question. Everyone's answer is 1. No one would ever pick #2. I don't care how hated the rivalry is.
Its just like this year. Lsu stole a victory over us. We still had a better season. We beat down little Bama at Kyle. They still had a better season. A&M wouldn't trade with Lsu. Bama wouldn't trade with A&M.

Beating the hell outta t.u. is always good.
Wining the SEC Championship is far better (speculation on my part, obviously).

I view the horns in the same way I do Kansas State or Illinois. They would be just another game on the schedule. Indeed, it was quite annoying to have their AD and coaches begging to restart the game. I'm surprised their fanbase tolerated the embarrassment.

A&M just doesn't want to play us period. We let them up from under our boot for a measly decade and they're pulling in the highest ranked recruiting class of all time. You disappoint me SEC.
