Exactly. It’s a totally different dynamic now. Safe to assume Bama and UGA will still be near the top until something changes (retirements) but there could be a big shakeup below that

It's a different league now Chex. Used to be the West was pretty much Bama, AU and LSU. With NIL, the portal, & Texas and OU coming on board there are a lot of talent on a lot more teams. No divisions. Bama will be the last team to say they won the West. Good thing is though, the 12 team playoff should have at least 4 teams from the SEC.

If we’d have had one decent receiver this year it might’ve meant the difference in a couple of games. That was the biggest weakness this year, at least offensively.

I think any team that can get their TOP talent to gel can play for the CFP out of this conference. Ole Miss is the next team on the rise and will be a difficult out the next couple of years regardless of what people think about Kiffin. AU isn't that far back of them.

Qb play seemed a little suspect (except in the Bama game) at times in some games and the rotation of Robby Ashford in the red zone was a little "meh" for me. I think you stick with the guy that got you down there and build confidence in him.

Just more proof that Auburn is not and never will be a championship program. Beat Alabama and that's all they care about. Beating Auburn is big here, but they are a stepping stone to a goal for Bama.
In 2017 Auburn fans having just beaten UGA are orgasmic winning what turns out to be a meaningless Iron Bowl. I tried to tell them and was laughed at but it wasn't funny for long.
Georgia whipped a crippled up Auburn in the SECCG. They shot their bolt against Alabama, not caring about anything but getting that win. And then the nightmare comes to pass.
