Oh my goodness. I just went and looked. It is even worse than I remembered. Counting this year, Auburn has gone a combined 19-23 in SEC play the last five seasons.
During this same time frame, Auburn has had to watch their three main rivals; LSU, Alabama, and Georgia; win all the national championships. And Alabama is in play for another this year.
I can’t even imagine what it would be like to watch your rivals win national championship after national championship while not even being able to go .500.
No wonder this thread is 35 pages long. Auburn fans are desperate for any kind of victory, moral or not, at this point. I am surprised they haven’t put a trophy in the case for the Buc-ee’s grand opening. Wait, you did get a Buc-ee’s trophy? Whatever, good for you. You deserve it.
