Such a classy comment.
I suspect Bo is gay and think it would be great if he were to come out and drive homophobes like you out of their freakin' minds.....and then see you all die of heart attacks when Hugh Freeze not only did not condemn him, but supported him 100%
Yes, that would be priceless.

Always though Bo Jackson was gay but never made me dislike him. He was also a heck of a player and he can do as he pleases.

For those of you who consider yourselves "Christians" and use that as a reason (excuse) for your homophobia, be advised that Hugh Freeze is as deeply religious a man as you ever will find, but obviously he understands either a) that homophobia is not the way of a true Christian, only a phony one, and/or b) whatever his personal religious beliefs, it is his professional duty not to let them effect how he treats any of his players
I think A and B go together. I think the majority of reasonable Christians get a bad rap on this topic. A person can disagree with another's actions based on a moral code while still treating them with decency. Nobody gets upset that Christians tend to disagree with promiscuity or things like lying. Just because a part of your life is viewed as "sin" does not mean a Christian views you as a lesser person.
Not trying to start a religious debate, but I think disagreeing with a lifestyle and thinking of someone as a lesser person are too often treated as synonymous.

Curious as to why you think he's gay?

Your case would be much more convincing if some of the Fundamentalists claiming to be Christians were not making every political effort imaginable to deny gay people even the most basic rights by opposing any and all gay rights legislation that comes before Congress.

You know Rachel from the baseball games? He's giving it to her.

Gut feeling. I don't have any hard evidence (but I don't know what hard evidence would consist of other than a photograph of him being in bed with another guy)

He's been dating Rachel since early football season.

I saw Bo blowing a dude in the roosters bathroom. I went up and told him how brave he was.

Agree. Apparently every female athlete wants to sleep with Denzel.

I think a lot of it hinges on semantics. Christians typically view marriage as a holy union ordained by God. To others, it simply means to be legally recognized as a couple with intentions of spending your lives together. The sticking point, for most, is a technicality. Homosexuals argue "civil union" is too legal and not recognizing their relationship as more than a contract or argue that God actually does not condemn homosexuality so their marriage would not desecrate its religious base. Christians argue that allowing homosexuals to "marry" is a desecration and slap in the face to their beliefs.
I don't know of many Christians opposed to gays being allowed to have loving, long term relationships. It just hinges on views on a word since the view of marriage is based on a religious leader uniting two people before God.
