I understand multi-tasking is nearly impossible for some people. Heck, most Auburn fans have enough trouble trying to keep up with just Auburn. I can understand why it seems to strange to you that fans of other schools are able to keep with with how lots of schools, all across the country and even across multiple years, are doing. It may seem like black magic to you. But it isn’t. It is just being literate. That means being able to read.

Well which is it? Does DeBoer need to be as good as Saban, or just as good as New Mexico St?

That's for you to decide but New Mexico State has Freeze's number. Freeze had Saban's. Those are the rules.

So proud of you as a limited Gump to finally be able to read, that is a big accomplishment. Now you are able to look up Auburn information and actually comprehend it.

So, do you think Auburn will have more or less than 7 wins this season? Or is 7-6 your prediction?

Losing 66% of the time while 50% of the remaining 33% were based on pure luck is having someone's number?

I don't think that's even close to the rules.

They were. You lose again.

And let's just face it: Saban had his share of pure luck against Freeze

Last year the Auburn punt returner taking himself out with 4 minutes left to go in the game and the backup PR fumbling for starters. Then 4th and 31.

It happened right in front of me and I said "we just lost". Guy next to me asked why and I told him that I've seen the movie before.

7 wins is a pragmatic expectation for Auburn this year.

None of that is luck, that is all a reflection of the coaching.

Luck is when your QB makes a terrible decision, but then the ball bounces off someone's helmet and lands into the arms of a guy past all defenders allowing him to run in for a touchdown.

Or when your RB fumbles and the ball just magically happens to skirt the sideline for 10 yards before going out of bounds in the end zone giving the other team a touch back.

And so on. Was it luck that Auburn got the kick 6 in 2013, or was it coaching?

Reflection of coaching…
UGA game- players are taught since Pop Warner to knock the ball down. UGA DB’s did not - Coaching
Kick Six - Davis lead the country in punt returns. Auburn set up for the return, Bama did not - Coaching!
Last year. Auburn safety was suppose to double up with the corner on the outside. He failed to do so - Coaching!
No Luck…. Coaching.

You want tradition?
Perkins, Curry, Dubose, Fran, Price, Shula.
Take away the interim coaches. Since Bryant, Bama has gone through 9 coaches. Aubie has 7.

More tradition? Compare NCAA violations between the two.

It may be pragmatic but barner fans think Freeze has the Midas touch and 7 wins don't justify that belief. They want some upsets now and he frankly needs to beat a good SEC team at home. Given that the loss to NMS last season was ridiculous, 7-5 feels a lot like the 6-win team of year one. Freeze needs an Oklahoma victory and 8 wins to keep the critics at bay.

Auburn will have 4 straight wins before Oklahoma. That’s great momentum. If they get past Oklahoma, that’s 5 wins.

Momentum could have Auburn playing above their weight.
