Daniel Tosh has a great joke about this.

That goofy guy in the blindside wasn't smart enough to cheat.

I personally don't think OM does anything different than 90% of the SEC. Rules are bent and broken in every athletic department. But a huge difference has been uncommonly naïve comments made by CHF.
From his 2013 Signing Day challenge to fanning the flames of Lindsey Miller, Freeze has publicly handled the investigation about as poorly as possible.

I can not argue with your opinion

Does Michael Oher even play at Ole Miss any longer? Have you guys gone bananas?

Assuming Freeze gets a show cause for a moment and does not coach at OM again, thoughts on OM hiring Tuberville again?
The last time he was hired by OM they were under devastating probation and he brought them out of the ashes.
He is available.
Thoughts?

Blindside taught me that Sandra Bulloch likes the BBC.

In that scenario, Ole Miss would jump at a chance to hire 40 yr old Tuberville again.
Idk if they want 63 yr old Tommy. He was a fire breather when they got him the first time.
Mangino is hanging around South-Central Florida, sipping drinks and watching ball. A guy that can take Kansas to a BCS game could win at a crippled SEC program

I cried twice during the "Blindside" Once when they have the scene where he says he's never had a bed and then at the end when he goes to Ole Miss!
15/16ths of a great movie

Big Mike: "I never had one before"

pretty good scene.

If the NCAA hits OM this summer and Freeze is removed, there will be few options on the table. Tuberville would be a good option

One has to think if Freeze gets the boot then so does Bjork. Who knows how the HC search will go in the event the AD gets canned?

I would take him at LSU in a heart beat, but I think he's Cali bound for UCLA or something similar.

In this offseason, the level of coordinator that showed interest in OM was shocking.
Having known sanctions hanging overhead would further dry up their candidate pool. Tubs may be able to name his price

He's got multiple members of his coaching staff including his head football coach listed in the 1st NOA. And to top it all off, there's a serious rumor that a 2nd NOA is well on it's way to Oxford, headed straight for Bjork's desk any day now.
I must be totally misinformed on his role in this current fiasco at OM, but I don't see how he would be a serious candidate for another AD position with this NCAA problem hanging over his head?

The fall of Ole Miss is arguably one of the best things to ever happen. I can't wait for Freeze's arse to get the boot.

You don't think a team that has been pretty close to the bottom of the SEC on a regular basis for the past 50 years had to do something a little bit different than the rest of the SEC to pull in top ten classes? Ok. Everyone cheats. Yea. Everyone doesn't drive 120 in a 70 mph zone. State and OM go back and forth on in state prospects and the big ones get money. How much over market value do you think OM had to pay to reel in those big time out of state prospects that had no business even considering OM? That's why they are getting hammered. You can't rise that fast in recruiting when you have been consistently mediocre for that long without the NCAA giving you a rectal exam.

They were running fast & loose with the rules. Big time supporters, influential donors and outsiders interjected themselves into the program and Hugh Freeze turned a blind eye while they were wheeling and dealing behind the scenes.
You can't help but think that with just a little forethought from the coaching staff, and running a few things by their Compliance Department folks would have lessened the blow of the allegations of wrong doing.
Vet that FCA guy from Memphis before you let him start hauling recruits back and forth on visits. Let your Compliance folks get him cleared through the NCAA before you have your Head Coach and Asst Coaches organize host in-home visits with recruits and their families. shite like that could have been avoided IMHO.
