Huge difference between an FBI Target Letter and a Subpoena

Sorry to inform the haters that are losing their minds over this however Wade received a subpoena and NOT an FBI Target Letter. It just means he has to answer questions under oath in court concerning an on-going investigation where he is not the target. An FBI Target letter would have meant he is the one being targeted as the person being investigated. There will be many more receiving subpoenas as they go after the big fish with Will Wade not being one of those fish. Sorry guys.

Why Did I Receive a Grand Jury Subpoena?
There are generally three reasons a person may receive a grand jury subpoena:
(1) The person is a “target,” meaning that the grand jury has substantial evidence linking the person to the commission of a crime and the prosecutor will likely move to indict that person.
(2) The person is a “subject,” meaning that person’s conduct is within the scope of the grand jury’s investigation
(3) The person is a “witness” meaning that the person is not under investigation but has personal knowledge of facts relevant to the grand jury investigation. You may be a witness for several reasons. For example, the grand jury may subpoena a current employee of a company managed by persons who are potential defendants.
A person receiving a subpoena must determine whether they are a target, subject, or a witness as soon as possible

Seriously, how can you be that stupid? Wade has to answer questions and that's it.I realize the LSU hate but there will no doubt be more Coaches added to this subpoena list who will have to answer questions. They are after two primary big fish here who knowingly and willfully broke the law. Will Wade is not one of them.

It is a ongoing investigation. His problem is if he lies to the FBI he is screwed, if he tell the truth, he could lose his job.

The FBI already know the answers, especially this deep into the investigation. That is why LSU fans need to be worried.

Jesus y’all are misinformed. He’s a witness. He can plead the fifth on anything that would be self incriminating. Basic stuff.

There is not a Grand Jury. He'll be a witness as they go after the two they really want. And yes he can plead the 5th and be done with it if he chooses.

Correct, but if he pleads the fifth his career is over. The member institutions put a lot of emphasis on cooperation. That usually means with the NCAA, but in this case it is more important.

Yea, no. He executes his legal right and you think he will be fired for it. That’s grounds for a wrongful termination suit in and of itself.

Perjury vs admitting to NCAA violations on record. But this is all nothing and will just blown away. Lol.

This isn’t a grand jury...

This is an incredibly ignorant comment. It doesn’t shock me that you’d say this, but you literally have zero clue of what you’re rambling about.
