I can see that.
The Muskogee Turnpike is pretty rough too.

An 18-wheeler full of illegal aliens stopped me and asked for directions to Venezuela.

Going to be miserable today. It was 28 when I woke up, that is the high for the day. You can see the cold front rolling in today as the temperatures drop like a rock. It will be a miserable day or two but then warm up next week.

Louisiana has us beat. Last winter storm we had a few years ago, Arkansas had all the major interstates plowed and cleared within a few days.
Went across the border to Louisiana and it was like they didn’t own a snow plow.

I’m here in Oklahoma for Christmas and it’s brutal right now with 50 mph winds and -10 temps.
I lived in upstate NY, north east Kansas, Germany for 10 years and this weather gives them all a run for their money.
The lake effect snow has nothing against 50 mph wind chills.

Not sure where my fellow Arkansas lives, but here in Northern Arkansas, we are expecting around 6 inches of snow, -30 windchill, and blizzard like conditions. They shut down Silver Dollar City because of the wind chill if that tells you anything.
Down in Central Arkansas, we're expecting about an inch of snow and tomorrow's wind chill in the negative single digits. Gonna be a cold Christmas.

Last night I heard the temp drop in Kansas City was 35 degrees in about half an hour. Not sure HVAC is well equipped to respond that fast. Any HVAC folks care to check in?

You know what that means?? College baseball season is right around the corner and ole Mother Nature will resume her ongoing battle with the Razorbacks' annual attendance numbers.

I'm sitting in my warm office watching a little snow fall.
It ain't that big of a deal. It is a little frosty out.
