How would LSU bending the knee have any impact on the hearing?

People keep stating that LSU folded and that is why the hearing was postponed.
The hearing wasn’t about whether LSU WOULD be kicked out.
It was about whether the SEC COULD act in a way that involved punishments for certain actions, i.e. self-determination.
Someone explain how LSU bending the knee would have any impact on that.
The SEC still doesn’t have the federal court backing to act in accordance with their own rules, even when state courts are involved.
This is a legitimate question. I want the SEC to go ahead and get the power to set and enforce their own rules.
Postponing this for LSU conceding makes no sense.

Folks here have been insisting that the SEC "just wanted power to enforce its rules".

Without giving someone the possibility of seeking legal relief? Good lord. That’s what the SEC was asking for. No court is setting that precedent.

The SEC had no case. That's the biggest reason why the hearing didn't happen.

Well the league continuing this shite didn't make any sense after they didn't put them on the roster. TBF, the league even challenging this shite didn't make any sense. WTF retards their own teams in their own fricking league? This is a one-time thing with the 2022 class.

LSU didn’t bend a knee. They mad a calculated decision and forced the SEC’s hand
The 2 players in question will be taken care of and were kept abreast of what was going on

That’s separate and apart from this though. They went way too far.

I can't recall a conference treating their own team like this. Especially a team that was complying with a court injunction. Serious damage to the future of the league, IMO.
