A 9-4, 8-5 bowl record would probably allow the conference to somewhat reset its image as THE P5 conference after a mediocre season. Unfortunately, other than Bama, I think that UK and Vandy may be the only ones that are a little excited about their bowls.

I'd guess 6-7 or 5-8. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I believe the SEC was 9-2 last season. Hopefully, something similar this year. My level of confidence in a victory is ranked from most confident to least:

1 ALABAMA vs WASHINGTON
2 MISSISSIPPI STATE vs MIAMI (OH)
3 LSU vs LOUISVILLE
4 GEORGIA vs TCU
5 FLORIDA vs IOWA
6 TENNESSEE vs NEBRASKA
7 VIRGINIA TECH vs ARKANSAS
8 NC STATE vs VANDERBILT
9 GEORGIA TECH vs KENTUCKY
10 OKLAHOMA vs AUBURN
11 USF vs SOUTH CAROLINA

The conference is not nearly as good this year as it was last year.

As an LSU fan I'm extremely excited about our bowl game against Louisville. The bad thing about it is that I know it's the last game of the season and I won't have LSU football for another 8 fricking months

Sadly, I agree. My SEC "homerism" took a beating with the ACC's head-to-head wins this year (I live in Tallahassee).

As long as Bama wins, I'm good.

I'm excited about Oklahoma. It's an intriguing matchup, and I want to say only the 2nd time the teams have played.

ETA: And I hate Stoops and hope their RB gets mangled by Lawson/Monty Adams.

I almost never pull for auburn, but I hope y'all breast OU 80-0.

The Sugar Bowl will be one of the few times in my life that I'm actually pulling for AU to get the win.

I don't know what most rushing yards in a bowl game is, but UK and GA Tech may surpass it.

Pretty good ranking, except you left out ATM vs KSU. I think the 1-6 SEC teams will win. Hopefully 7-12 will win at least 3 of those 6.

Will this be the 4th quarter LSU fans stay for?

Did the Texas Bowl (A&M and Kansas State) get cancelled?

3 LSU vs LOUISVILLE
NEW 4 TEXAS A & M vs KANSAS STATE
4 GEORGIA vs TCU
5 FLORIDA vs IOWA
6 TENNESSEE vs NEBRASKA
7 VIRGINIA TECH vs ARKANSAS
8 NC STATE vs VANDERBILT
9 GEORGIA TECH vs KENTUCKY
10 OKLAHOMA vs AUBURN
11 USF vs SOUTH CAROLINA

I have no idea how to call this bowl season. The SEC has looked somewhat down this year except Alabama. Could be the SEC is down some or the SEC had some pretty good teams that beat up on each other.
The SEC has some good match ups with good name teams, but it's not like those teams have not show some major weaknesses during the year. Could be some entertaining games with some possible SEC blow outs.

The SEC is down because of QB play. AU is a good team with a competent QB, same for LSU and Florida. Georgia's kind of meh, ole miss lost their QB, Tennessee is a dumpster fire. This league will always play defense and run the ball, but it lives and dies with the QB position. It just wasn't there this year.

Dobbs led the SEC in total touchdowns (35) and passer rating (152).

Dobbs wipes his bald arse with Etling, Appleby and Del Rio. Stupid gump is stupid.
