TCU has as good a defense as LSU and a better offense.

LSU has better RB's , WR's and Oline

Here's a good guideline to live by:

The next time you have an idea for a thread, ignore it.

Actually they had only one player that received All American votes and he is a returning starter. They lost only two players to the draft.

As far as making a case for TCU to pull off the upset, I will make a case for it but that doesn't mean I think it will happen.

1. You play away from home and it will be a TCU heavy crowd. I think LSU fans will show up for the game because you travel well, but this will be an away game for you more than a neutral site game.

2. TCU returns 9 on a defense that is always pretty stout. Patterson is a great defensive coach and he has some studs returning this year.

3. Pachall returns at QB. They were 4-0 until the dumb arse got himself suspended for the rest of the season. I think that is big.

4. Also returning are the two starting Offensive Tackles. You will have some new people in the front seven and I think that how they perform in their first game against veteran TCU OL will be the difference in the game.

5. The last time TCU game back from a disappointing year they went 11-1 and to the Rose Bowl and they had a similar compliment of starters returning under pretty much the same coaching staff.

I think you should be worried about this game. Especially since you are implementing a new offensive system and going into the first game of the season against a stout defense.

Honestly, I think you pull out the victory, but I could see it going to other way if your offense doesn't strike early and keep TCU on their heals from the start.

If that happens (it won't) it'll be a slaughter over here. I predict no less than 50 rival posters will get the axe within a week if LSU loses to purple Baylor.

Then why does Les have actual rings? 1/10

Seriously? Patterson went 13-0 with a Rose Rowl victory at TCU. T-C-U. Since 2005, he was won 11 or more games six times. He has eight bowl wins in 12 years. And in all that time, he has never had a recruiting class ranked in the top-40. LSU signed more top-100 players last year than Patterson has in his entire tenure combined.

The guy is one of the best coaches in the country. They probably wont beat you guys because of the sheer talent difference, but don't kid yourself. Les has more accomplishments because one, he coaches in a BCS conference and two, has ten times the talent.

You're talking about Fields who was a Freshman All-American. I was referring to Verrett the CB.
