If LSU can run for 275 on that soft defense, how on earth are they supposed to stop the yellow jackets vaunted triple option run game???

We will sustain several knee injuries during the $hit stomping that Tech will get.

They won’t. Tech will beat the dog shite out of UGA this season if CPJ is smart & starts Oliver over Marshall.

We’ve won the last two meetings in Athens. Expect nothing to change this season

They scored 7 on us last year. Somehow I think we'll manage

Man, your defense is nowhere near the level it was last year.

They've actually moved away from the triple option this year to more of a double option because they have some QB issues.

It just comes down to gap assignment with edge discipline.

GT's offense is great when they have a QB who can complete a 10 yard pass on 3rd and long. They don't have that this year.

GT also needs a good defense, which they don't have.

If they had a Justin Fields type QB with a decent defense, they would be a top ten team.

But they don't.

Enjoy the next 3 weeks here; we know you’ll bolt after the annual beat down of your GHSA single A offense.

You ignore all the fancy defensive schemes you've drawn up for every other offense and play gap control schemes with your safeties closer to the line of scrimmage then they normally would be.

Stop the FB dive while looking out for the midline option of the QB following right on his tail. GT doesn't seem as fond of the midline option as the service academies though.

If you force the play outside, which is where Tech has been eating people alive this year, the usual emphasis is on taking the pitchman and making the QB beat you with his feet. Unfortunately the GT QB can do exactly that.

Force him to pitch and try to string out the pitch man towards the sideline.

I love the option, don't get me wrong, but if your play smart defense where everyone just does their job and doesn't let themselves get suckered out of position you can stop it.

Did you see what happened with auburn last year?

LSU was Georgia’s Auburn this year. If we played again we’d smack the shite out of you. Seeing as how we’re not y’all really don’t mean anything as indicated by your position below us in the polls.

Can’t say I’ve watched your team much this year, but I did watch Oliver shred Virginia techs defense all night. So from my very small sample size, I would have to agree with this

Not really one who gives history a lot of credence when it comes to football games, but since you brought it up I’ll bite.

GT has beaten Georgia 10 times....in the last 40 games. Expect the 25% odds to continue if not worsen.

What does this have to do with the post? You seem pretty upset about that L big man.
And again, GA’s defense is not the same as it was last year.

UGA is lucky they get to see it once a year. If they had never seen it & had a week to prepare it’d be different. That’s not saying Tech won’t get some yards but UGA outclasses Tech at every position

Rivalry Week 66 - 41 - 5 so my guess is they know what they are getting into.
