How to explain this crazy Auburn stat?

In their past 7 games against power 5 teams auburn has been outscored 101-21 in the second half. How are you all able to do well in the first half and then nothing after halftime? Usually that's a sign of either poor conditioning or no depth but I don't see either of those as adequate explanations. I also don't get the coaches coming up with good first half game plans and not be able to do anything in the second half. Not trying to kick you when you're down, but what gives?

The other team is making adjustments, and Auburn coaches aren’t reacting to those adjustments in the second half?

Idiot head coach.
We do things that work well in the first. The other team adjusts to stop what is working. We don’t adjust.

Maybe because it can be difficult when the head coach is trying to be fired by the big donors and the board. Kind of a distraction overall.

That goes back to Gus too but even more magnified with Harsin.

And to add in Harsin’s mind if he calls a play even if it is after the defense has adjusted to what we are doing and the play doesn’t work it isn’t him but is simply execution. His calls are perfect even if he makes zero adjustments during the game.

UGA has out scored P5 opponents 65-13 in the second half this season. UGA plays AU on Saturday

Head Coach calling plays from a gameplan without any adjustments. He will run the ball up the middle on about 80% of the plays on first down. He will try a slant or a screen on about 80% of second downs and he will try and sling it on third down. Last night he was foolish to go on 4th down when he was needing more than 10 yards. Other coaches have figured him out.

No. If he can’t separate that shite from his gameday plans he has no business coaching in the SEC.

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy your misery. As would be the same if situations were reversed, as they will be one day.
That being said, it’s sad to watch a coach who seems to be deliberately sabotaging his team.
You need to get him out of there before this gets worse.

I think its lack of adjustments and some bad luck…

You have minor league crap coaches that can look in a book and draw up some plays for the first quarter or so of a game. Then the game starts happening and they have no clue what to do from that point on.

You are giving him too much credit for DELIBERATELY sabotaging his team. That is just the coach he is.
