Secondary, will be on par with last year, maybe some dropoff.

We lose 4 of our 6 biggest contributors from last year, as well as the best DB coach in the country

There's going to be a dropoff

A lot of people forget that LSU's offense was perfectly fine with Lee. Jarrett Lee led the SEC in passing efficency rating, and Rueben Randle was the number 1 WR in the SEC 8 games into the season.

It wasn't until Jefferson was given the full time starting job when the offense started to tank. No first downs against UGA, 14 first half points against WKU, falling behind to Arkansas..

LSU offense will be fine with Mett as long as we can replace Randle.

What does that have to do with my link? Are you just a really bad troll or just that lost?

Saying best in the SEC does not mean best in only SEC vs SEC played games

The webpage you linked to shows stats through November 28; obviously, that would not include the zero points scored by LSU in the BCSNCG. Factor that goose egg in and the standings change.

that's how I took it because I knew the stats. I don't see what is relevant about beating North Mississippi valley St. 75-0 has to do with anything.

Is that a rhetorical ? Yeah, it happend but it wasn't SEC play and wouldn't be included in league game stats.

It was stats from SEC play. If you are so insecure that you need this stat line by adding the NC game that is certainly fine. You can be that insecure.

I disagree in that it was fine with Lee. I still saw too much inconsistency. Lee never had that killer instinct or born to lead attitude. Neither did Jefferson for that matter, but Lee was without a doubt the better passer.

Again, just more to build on. Mett thus far has shown he can be a leader in practice. It's time to show it under the lights. 2 weeks can't go by quick enough.

While I agree, I don't think we want to go there. Let's just say things are going to be better this year with Mett. I have a guy in mind that could be the next "Randle".

I wasn't posting it. Summer of George was repeating it and I knew what he meant because I'm not dense.
