I'm gonna receive flak, but I could see Ole Miss beating Texas, Texas A&M, Vandy, Arkansas, and especially State.

9-3 WCS, 12-0 possible

Will improve on offense, hard not to, assuming Miles allows it. Folks like to blame JJ, but it's the coaching decisions that's held the offense back.

I agree, that is why I disagree with the O getting better. The same coaches are there now that were there last year.

Secondary, will be on par with last year, maybe some dropoff

I don't think this secondary will be near the one from last year. Starters and depth will have a drop from last year.

8-4 WCS, 12-0 possible

Texas A&M

Will be the spoiler this year, winning one or two they shouldn't.

No reason for this team to not go 10-2, best QB in league. Coaching is the ???

Auburn

Too many questions everywhere, with QB being the biggest. I have no faith in either QB. OL young and inexperienced again. I think Chizik handled the OL and QB position terribly last year, leading to problems this year. Also two new systems installed. I'm thinking it could be a rough year. The blowouts could be minimized if they can gain some discipline and play fundamentally sound.

I think they will be 4th place team in west.

OM- Please beat UTX.

1a/1b - BAMA/LSU-clearly the top teams

3- ARK- has a solid command on 3rd in the west- could sneak up to 2 or could fall to 4th if the coaching change really blows up the team.

4/5/6 - T-A&M/MSU/Au - anyone of these could end up 4th or 6th. All are 4 loss minimum type teams. Should be some good games between them and week 2 we'll find out if MSU or Au will be in the drivers seat for 4th in the west.

7 - Ole Miss

I'm ready for the season that is for sure!

Eh....I think they might be better than last year but that isn't saying much. They had a horrible o-line, and they still can't figure out the QB spot.

Plus, Brassel transferred so there goes their best playmaker.

Again, LSU had the #1 scoring offense in the SEC last year...and w/ a horrible passing QB.

Improved passing / receiving plus run game equal to last year should yield an improved offense.

*Mett had 5 passing TDs in yesterday's 120 play scrimmage.

So should yours be worse because you lost your OC and best offensive player?

Our offense was just fine last year outside of one game. Passing game should be improved. Offensive will be improved.

most Auburn fans are excited about the new secondary. Both starting safties beat out guys with alot more experience. Wrong angle McNeal got beat out

I never stated McElwain and TR were the reasons Bama was good on offense last year.

What? Watch the Arkansas and UGA games. You know we set an SEC record for no 1st downs in the first half vs UGA, right?

JJ was awful, and he showed it most in our final 3 games.

Not nessacarily. While neither Ryan Smith nor Jermaine Whitehead was a starter last season (both did have one start), they do have alot of experience. Both played in every game. And since McNeal is now a backup, we have experience there along with Florence and a few walk-ons.

Bear in mind that the Kragthorpe illness situation hit us right before the season last year. Coach Stud should be much more comfortable this year, and he also has a QB who can make all the throws this time around.

We have the receivers, we have the running backs, we have the o-line. This offense should be very good.

The only weakness I see is that we lack a receiving threat at TE. Clement is OK but he's not burning anyone down the field. The freshman Dillon Gordon might be called upon early.
