Not that it matters… asking for a friend.

Same reason Notre Dame can stay in the top 25 in a shitty season. Ratings.

Because they have a respectable blowout loss to a top 10 Arkansas team… Oh wait…

Blew a big lead and lost to OU by 7.

If they win, they’d be in the top 20. They lost so they fell to 25.

Losing to a top 5 team in the country by 7 is what a fringe top 25 team is supposed to do.

It’s not how the polls generally work, though

Their 2 losses are better than your two?

You think getting blown out by 30 to Arkansas is better than losing to Arkansas by 10 and only giving up 20 points?

You aren’t that bright

How the hell is Oklahoma still ranked in the top 20? They'd get their dicks smashed by pretty much every SEC team not named Vandy and Mizzou.

Aggie, congrats on your team beating ‘Bama. I have Aggie cousins I like, and grew up with plenty of Aggie friends, so mean that. Have some beer and BBQ, and enjoy this week.

I think Sark is serious and our offense is getting fun to watch. But Texas is not going to be relevant nationally again until it builds up both its offensive and defensive lines - that’s pretty obvious.

I think we have coaches that can do that, but this will take some time. Sark will need to win enough to keep our notoriously inpatient Texas fan base calm enough to build up the team.

Hopefully when we play you boys again we will be more built up in the trenches. Getting our lines patched up before Okie State, and filling in for hurt key players is a lot more important than if we are in the top 25 or not right now.

Someday we will be ready Aggie, and I am looking forward to some wild games - where your band will play some precise military marches at halftime, and ours will play Broadway show tunes…

Thanks, I have had some beers in that Dixie Chicken of yours with some Aggie friends - had a fine time!

Just beat the #1 team in the nation but thinking about Texas. Sad.

But A&M's wins are better than their wins. Add to that A&M was at least competitive with Arkansas

Because they are Texas and a lot people expect them to be ranked even if they don't deserve it.

It's debatable whether oklahoma is a top 10 team, but otherwise, I agree.

I think Okie would have definitely lost to TX if QB Spencer Rattler had stayed in.

OU’s freshman QB backup came on though and played lights out. That dude will be a beast. I think Okie plays like a top 10 team going forward if that freshman QB stays in …

I accept both styles.

Looking at the teams right outside the top 25, would you put Auburn or Clemson in over them? Those two teams are 26&27. I’d be fine with Baylor in, but we’ll find out if Texas is actually deserving of that ranking or not after this weekend.
