start saying its an asterisk year? Is it as soon as they are 2-2 or do they wait until they are 2-7?

This right here, always confuses me from LSU posters. When should people start threads about other schools? Is it a special time slot to be marked safe?

I don’t count them as asterisk years, but I can’t do another year without fans. I need the stadiums rocking

Well, if you're an Alabama fan posting about LSU, the correct answer is every day and every night.

I would take this more seriously if didn't come from you specifically.

As an LSU fan, you shouldn’t feel special: Bama fans belittle all schools equally.

You folks act like LSU fans caused a World Wide Pandemic. Who was the National Champion the year Spanish Flu was at its peak?

Exactly.

This Bama title will be relegated to the junk pile of history. No one other than Gumps will care nor remember it.

Then you shouldn't have any problems agreeing to a ban bet over it.

Honestly I'm so happy LSU doesn't reach full potential each year because a simple-minded way of thinking.

Most salt of the earth folks... if it 95° degrees outside they are working. If it's raining they go to work. Not LSU posters and their program they sit in the window complaining, because other teams and fans move forward.

That's where you are wrong - you don't forget the greatest team in the history of college football

Why do Alabama fans consistently believe that their fanhood actually affects the team?

Its like their lives gain some type of higher meaning simply because of the college football team they've chosen to cheer for a few Saturdays in the fall.

Weird.

Maybe 2-2 or 2-7. Not sure. However, I know I can stop putting an asterisk behind your Bama fandom when you show us Bama degree considering your handle seems to indicate that you are from Lake Charles, LA.

If Bama fans cared half as much about their personal lives as they do a football team of strangers, who knows how much more advanced that state would be.

Hmmmmmm

Link?

At any rate, I've never suggested that fans affected the team's success. Also, it was a fun season but didn't make my life any better or worse.

LSU sucked in 2020 but it was actually a very good year for me personally.

You like to project your idea of a typical Bama on here, despite most "Bammers" are no different from other SEC program fans.

Now we had a set of "fans" that basically bailed on their team halfway through the season and started pushing the * rhetoric.

I like you Sidewalker but you're full of chit. People on here seen exactly how LSU posters acted last year. Run down any thread in Tiger Rant right now...you see plenty of US, We and Our(s). So give us a break with the uppity false bravado crap.
