I absolutely love hearing that TV stations in Jonesboro replayed him answering a question if he was just going to be there for a year.
The gist of his reply was If you think I'm only going to be a short time, you don't know me. I'm not made like that. This isn't going to be a one year type of deal.
Gus is so full of shite, and uses that christian mantra as a smokescreen, it's sickening and like I've said before a main reason I innately distrust bible thumpers. Have your beliefs, have your faith, but don't use them as a shield or crutch as to why we should think you're superior.

Gus left to take a head coaching job which is completely fine.

It will be interesting to see if he still gets recruiting love from the Ark HS coaches.
With the shite we've pulled out of that state recently, you can keep em all.

Where was all of this bitch when Freeze left ASU after one year?
You rantards are ridiculous.

Would I be weird if I said that I find her strangely attractive?

I can't blame Auburn for wanting him but there's a lot to be said for being careful for what you wish. Gus will have some success at Auburn. I have no doubt but as far as I'm concerned, he's shown his hand. I actually like the guy until yesterday. Now I'm just thankful that we didn't end up with him.

Hugh Freeze is a man of good character. Freeze never misled the school and fan base by going out of his way to sell them a "long term commitment". He didn't lie. Gus lied numerous times to ASU, their players, and their fans. That's the difference.
I listened to Gus Malzahn's press conference when he was hired at ASU. I've listened to numerous interviews where he stated his long term commitment. He said a whole lot of things absolutely like what's been quoted and paraphrased in this thread re: people not knowing who he is if they think otherwise...and etc., etc., etc. Hell, I believed him. Like I said, I had a lot of respect for the guy until yesterday.
Gus Malzahn will have success at Auburn and I don't blame Auburn for hiring him. I'll leave it at that.

So you're saying that you're still butthurt from a high school game from at least 8 years ago?
Let it go, man. Let it go.

While I see where you are coming from, I don't blame Gus. He had a chance to be a head coach and he took the job. He got offered a job at an SEC program that he just coached at so he took the offer. I think 99.9% of people in his position would do the same thing.
