Fallen??

Wasnt LSU supposed to have the best players in the country?

Yet you lost to a team from the lowly East, at Home.

Now whos fallen? You may want to stop

Florida is in for a rude awakening.

Nope. We're kind of in the same boat really. We've racked up DB, RB & WR recruits but totally forgot about OL, DL & QB. We're working on it. That's the difference. LSU made the necessary changes to at least make it look like they get it.

...with Muschamp's players. They won't be around forever and McYellowteeth aint that great of a recruiter. Good luck with that #19 class.

With Champs players....

The same ones that got him fired. Great point

He didn't get fired because of lack of talent. Nice try.

dumb thread, hes won the east 2 years in a row, and had qb trouble 2 years in a row, yet still managing to win the east.

More like muschamp's defensive guys won the east 2 years in a row. He backed into it both years basically, but okay

I wouldn't prefer Butch Jones over him-that's a pretty big stretch.

I suspect he'll be fired in 2 or 3 years if he can't improve the O. The next DC is probably not going to be as good as Collins (not because the DC candidates are bad, but simply because it's almost impossible to be as good of a DC as Collins). I also assume that he'll stop getting so lucky in close games sooner or later.

You just described every coach in the country, well done. What every coach in the country doesn't have is Saban's overall success in this area.

So, again, it's really dumb to view hoping they do well as a negative.

Wont be much long, considering you have a worse recruiting class than South Carolina

If you're arguing that his great defense is Muschamp's players, then you also have to argue his offense is bad because of Muschamp's players. Yes Muschamp left behind great defensive talent but the offensive talent is laughably bad.

I'm more sour on Mac than most but I'm willing to let him get a QB who can throw the ball 10 yards before I want him fired.

How has that worked out for you??

Mac must be a helluva coach to beat all these teams with 5 star talent with his 3s

I agree with this. You guys have been winning because of an uber-talented defense....that Muschamp recruited.

He is an offensive minded coach, he should be

a) recruiting good offensive players

b) doing at least decent with what he has

He hasn't accomplished either.
