But again regarding UK ball, 7 or 8 titles spread out over a 100 years is not a dynasty.
First off, there have only been 74 NCAA Tournaments. It was established in 1939.
Second, according to you, the only dynasty in NCAA basketball is UCLA, even though they haven't won since 1995 and hadn't won before that since 1975.

I honestly didn't know UK had that streak in the 50's. I'll grant that as a dynasty. Although Rupp was probably lynching brothers on his off days.

Rupp was one of the first SEC basketball coaches to recruit black players.

Your confusing a dynasty with a powerhouse. A dynasty is winning titles in a short time frame. A powerhouse is a powerhouse.
I concede the '50s UK dynasty.

Not a great endorsement.

He also took his teams to New York and Chicago to play teams with African American players when other southern coaches refused to do so.

It's all good. You get so pissy. Most people in the south were racist, along with everyone from the city of Boston present day.
Jesus, I said UK is a powerhouse. No one disputes that.
ETA: I think I cleared a 100 posts today. Thats sad and I am out.

How about this as a baseline for a Dynasty:
You must win at least 6 titles in a 10 year period in a single sport.
For Track you need to break this up into Indoor, outdoor and cross-country.

The "sport" must also be relevant in the eyes of sports watchers.....

Yeah, I love how history makes villains out of famous people. Years later they were just drunks and racists. Respected and admired while living though.
