Those 6 are legit. If we counted titles like a am they would have 11. But none of those 6 UT counted did they finish 3rd in the conference and stil count the national title. Only bama had thd power to not be the best team in conference but best in country lol.

Nah that 1938 team was legit. They was voted by 10 different publications #1. And they beat an undefeated Oklahoma team in the bowl game. But UT does have 8 unclaimed titles they could claim if they wanted to and there is a strong case for all them. Which by bama method UT should claim 14 national titles.

Probably not. Without the cheating Tennessee's win streak would probably be in the twenties by now. But because of Bama's corruption we will never know.

The 2nd lose came in the bowl game which the national title was awarded and final polls come out before bowls games back then. But they have 8 they could claim if they wanted to and would

These years UT could have claimed a share of the titles like Bama did even when they finished 3rd in the conference. It’s amazing how UT didn’t lose a game in 1927 and 1928 but yet don’t claim either then titles. Non the less the bama is a dirty program and have been for a very long time.

Alabama could claim more if they used the Tennessee method.
Hell, Alabama doesn't even claim 1966, where they went undefeated after winning the national championship the previous 2 years, and yet Tennessee claims 1967 where they went 9-2.
I'll be the first to admit Alabama's 1941 claim is bad, but even it is not as bad as Tennessee's 1967 claim. At least 1941 was still only 3 years into the poll era, not 30.

The final polls did come out before the bowls.
Tennessee was not #1 in any of them

Are you this dense? Do you want to list out seasons Alabama finished with 1 loss and "could claim titles like Bama does" if we just claimed all the titles when we lost 1 or less games?
1941 is a joke it should be removed. It's the only poll era title Alabama claims in which they didn't the AP and/or Coaches poll. Every other title Alabama won the AP or Coaches Poll or won the Rose Bowl in the pre-poll era. It's pretty consistent.
