I'm gonna go with 3 actually, simply because their run game will work better against us and they'll try to *grind* us down slowly all day.

I don't think it'll be as high-scoring as the LSU game, because Arkansas' offense will be able to sustain some drives unlike last week and MSU will keep the ball longer.

That's a really strange argument to make. It's almost like so many passes were thrown because it kept being effective

Leach throws a shite ton of passes whether its effective or not. It wasn't like Costello completed 80% of his passes.

It was a terrible performance to be sure but simply using the yardage as an argument for the "worst DB performance in SEC history" makes no sense.

For instance, 2019 LSU vs Mississippi State, Burrow had 10.21 yards per attempt

2020 LSU vs Mississippi State, Costello had 10.38 yards per attempt

I mean Burrow had games where he threw for more than 10.38 yards per attempt but who knows?

He certainly looked very poised and accurate in the small sample size we have.

A Barry Odom secondary is not going to be the worst.

Our defense played well against UGA, they just stayed on the field way too long bc our offense couldn’t sustain drives.

Leach doesn't run much even when he's blowing the frick out of the other team by 40 points.

He's playing against probably the worst secondary in the SEC and a non-existent pass rush

Didn't they already play L1U last weekend?

I think Leach is thinking, this is a chance to look really good and get in the polls. Take Arkys D holding the Dawgs to 5 points first half. He is gonna want to match GA in that way so it looks justified that they are legit, so I think he firebombs Arky. 6 TD passes

You actually think LSU will finish with a better record than Mississippi State?

Excuses, excuses

What is LSU gonna do when Arkansas puts up a better performance and allows MUCH less passing yards against MSU Saturday? What'll the excuse be then?
