I've never understood it either. Like any other city, Baton Rouge has its share of problems, but nothing more than you'd expect from a city of comparable size. I've also spent time in Tuscaloosa, and let's just say it isn't exactly a shining example of everything that's great about Alabama either. Every city has its issues, so I don't understand the need to single out Baton Rouge as if it's somehow unique.

Ive been to Tuscaloosa. Honestly would rather live in Baton Rouge. That says alot about that place
