I wasn't planning on watching it to begin with due to the lack of on-field talent and stakes. But I definitely don't want to support ESPN, Mizzou, etc. This whole situation is dumb as shite. Sorry, I'm not sure if those were micro or macro aggressions.
So are you cancelling the ESPN-owned SEC Network from your cable subscription?

How will analysts (with straight faces) lecture the viewers about diversity during a BYU game - a team and fan base that is majority white, the antithesis of diversity? Their narrative will be chalk full of hypocrisy and irony which will be extremely interesting.
BYU's football team is fairly diverse.

You don't have to watch if you don't want to. Considering how triggered you Mizzou fans are on race on the political board, its for the best.
I personally don't give a shite about all the racial crap your state has brought upon us. I'm concerned that I may of witness the forerunners of a college football union. They made your asses quit in a heart beat.

Will not support anything regarding UM. Athletic dept. needs to be shut down after letting savage scum dictate the operation.

Nope, I'm reconsidering if I will go to the UT/Mizzou game this year also.

Didn't Mizzou already declare this to be their "whiteout" game?

I don't pay for my cable subscription, my landlord includes all of that. I get all my sports news from Fox Sports now and only watch ESPN if there's a live game on I want to see. They've gotten so bad.

Any person that works for living and has even a shred of common sense, should boycott that game... TV and in-person

Not normally a game I would watch, but I want to see BYU go in hard without even spitting on the tip. Hopefully Pinkel will accept Bronco Mendenhall as his personal Lord and Savior Saturday night.

there's a lot about this situation I don't understand. calling a black a **** is not illegal. nor is calling a white honky (or whatever they call us now) illegal. both are wrong but damn the pres. can't dictate what come's out of peoples mouths.
are blacks that mistreated at mizzou? or just ignored.
today's racial climate, no doubt due to the politically incorrect nature of discussing it, is for the races to ignore each other (except when they interface in business transactions, etc).

You do realize Mizzou losses big time in that situation. You would of ended the scholarships of hundreds of students, fired hundreds of employees, and lost millions for breach of contract.
The effects would of extended far beyond football as well. Mizzou would of look like the scumb bag of the universe. The players would of won even more in this scenario.
The reason they have this much power is because of the college football system itself.

Viewership is probably going to go up now. Nobody had a reason to watch Mizzou terrible offense until now. People will watch now even if its just to see the Mormons woop Mizzou's arse.

I think a man of your convictions should follow through and refuse to watch any games on the ESPN family of networks.
You risk hypocrisy and being seen as weak otherwise.

Not really, but keep on keeping on, brother.

How about getting together with other "like" minded individuals and protesting the idiotic demands that have been levied recently? Does anyone else have a problem with hiring 10% more African American faculty and staff? So forget qualifications? Isn't this demand reverse racism? This type of garbage will not stop until these kind of ideas are challenged and withdrawn. Not saying that all of the demands were rediculous but several were.
