I had a thread about this last night, you can go back and see all the script A posting during the game and that will give you a good idea as to the number.
My estimate on this board is less than 5% have been inside BDS.
Ever seen a Score Board thread during an LSU game?? There must be a hell of a lot of LSU fans in the stadium posting on the board during games...

I haven't been to BDS this season, but did make the closer trip to UT.
Pretty sure I can get a $10 ticket for the AU game.
Happy?

I have season tickets, I don't know how many games in BDS I have attended. I attended my first Bama game in 1981 in Tiger Stadium.

Probably 50 to 60 including last night. @ 25 times at Legion Field and twice at Ladd Stadium in Mobile in the early 60's. Is that pedigree sufficient?

I try to attend every game...but sometimes I fail.

I can answer this question. I've been going to BDS since I was five. Yes I'm a season ticket holder. (F&S) I was also in the upper deck last night but not the section everyone keeps referring to as empty. I even posted when this question was asked last night.

It's pretty stupid to base the board's bama fans' lifetime attendance record at BDS on the number of fans posting during one game...

The cell service at BDS is remarkably better this year.

Yeah they went in with AT&T and Verizon and got signal boosters put in just like the Superdome.

When we were in TTown last November, we could not get service anywhere near campus. We had people that had AT&T, Verizon, and T Mobile. The locals told us that it was because the tornados knocked a lot of the towers down.
It's great that they have fixed it. It made the weekend a bit difficult for us last year. We were with a big group and we had to try to stay together at all times because we didn't know our way around and we couldn't call each other if we got lost.

I don't think that was the reason (though i'm not really sure what was)
You would get perfect service on the strip and campus until gameday, then it was no service at all. I'm thrilled they have it fixed, i've had to wander around tuscaloosa looking for people before because my cell had no service

Wait you got lost in Tuscaloosa? Only two real highways to remember if you're coming from Mississippi.. HWY82 then AL69 South. Come in to Northport make right on 69 intersection, you can't miss the signs.
Past that it's simple to find your way around.
I have been to a few tide games at BDS during the Shula years when I attended UA, but I haven't been back to BDS since. I prefer my 46in HDTV and my couch, much better view than what I normally get in the stands.

How many Gump tards here have actually gone to a game at BDS?

It's a tiny state with 2 fan bases, both of whom pack out 101,000 and 87,000 seat stadiums every game.

Oh...and I'm a proud Tide Pride member with three seats.

No, we didn't get lost on the way to TTown. I was talking about when we went out on the strip and downtown and game day in the quad, etc.

I'm sure the fact that there was probably 150,000 people in the area at the time overloaded the towers.

To all you Bama fan wanna be's and half asses
quote:There were a few in the very upper portion of the South end zone and 20% of the fans started leaving at the end of the 3rd quarter. 6min to go in the 4th 65% of the fans were gone and that just pisses me off. It's not over the players,coaches,staff,etc.. have put in all this hard work for us and we're winning and it's a conference game and they can't stay until "Rammer Jammer is sung". Hell I had an hour and 45min drive back home and arrived at 1:45am and had to come into work today for a while and I stayed. I left T-Town at 12:00am.
on a side note... there appeared to be a bunch of empty seats in BDS upper deck... what's up with that?

Went to every home game while I was a student from '99-'03 including crap Birmingham games. Was at LSU in 2000 and 2002. Watched y'all tear the goal posts down in 2000 I believe.
Went to Independance Bowl vs. Iowa State. Sugar Bowl vs. Utah. Nat Champ game in Pasadena.
Been to every SEC stadium except UK, Ark and Ms State.
Traveled to Norman, State College and Durham. Plus the Clemson and Va Tech openers in Atlanta.
Went to Ole Miss game this year and will be going to Texas A&M, Iron Bowl and Miami. Traveled to Missouri also.
But there are tons of Bama fans on all message boards that have never been inside BDS.

so I want answers.

Are you effeminate, or are you actually a girl, sunny?
As to your troll, I have attended many, many games at BDS and at Legion Field, starting back in the days that Coach Bryant walked the sidelines when I was a kid. I have also been to a few A-day games and several bowl games.
I am curious. I see you are a saints fan; are you an LSU fan? The reason I ask, it is usually fans/alum of inferior teams that use the T-shirt/sidewalk as the only insult they can muster, because the team they support has little else to boast about. Are you feeling inferior?
