Has Arkansas won a championship in anything since 1995?

The balls and bats weren't the reason LSU played that kind of ball well.

Yeah, just look at guys like Warren Morris. Obvious juicer.

Drawing a blank on his name, old age, but LSU's shortstop that yr hit 41'ish & came in second. Team had 180 HR's the last yr of gorilla ball, a record that will never be broken. And I stand corrected but S.Cal won the championship game by 21+ to 14 or something like that. Those pitchers back then had no chance.

Brandon Larson hit 40 in 1997, second to Lance Berkman that year with 41. LSU, as a team that year hit 188. They beat Alabama in the championship game. It was 1998, the following year, USC beat Arizona State in the title game 21-14 after coming through the loser’s bracket to beat LSU twice in the semis. It was unseasonably cold those two games and with the cold weather so was the LSU offense to fail to 3peat. They hit 8 home runs afainst USC in the first game of the CWS that year

But yes no one will ever approach those numbers again with the changes in the bats. For as many home runs as Tenn Tech hit this year, they were about 50 behind LSU’s 1997 total

Was LSU using the good bats and baseballs while everyone else wasn't?

It's hilarious that you guys are so insecure that you think that the OP was a sail... I was honestly curious.

Seems that the end of gorilla ball has brought LSU back down to the proverbial baseball earth
