Good for you.

you're losing an awful lot on your front 7 so IDK why that would matter.

We return Nico, Mosley, Williams, and Square. Our D-Line will be better by all accounts, and Nico is the best run stuffing ILB in the country, PLUS we add speed on the edge with Hubbard, and if Mosley is playing Sam in base with Trey on the inside, our run D should be just as good, if not a SMALL drop off, as last years.

I now know who NOT to listen to when it comes to football prognostications. Your assessment is asinine.

Had to rebuild after Saban basically quit on the team and fricked up the 2005 recruiting class.

So 2007 is because of Saban. Four national titles.

I've been doing this for years kid. Fun fact : I've always been right when picking the BCSCG and the Super Bowl.

We've always had a top run D under Saban. There will be a drop off, but Williams easily replaces Chapman, and Hightower is replaced with Nico. That is the only real drop off. Hightower > Nico

eta : In all fairness, I'm not going to argue with LSU fans. They clearly know more about everyone elses team.

I'm going to avoid a flame war and ignore the oncoming argument. Can't wait for November 3rd.

Wow. You know names! Awesome. I can tell you know all about your team. You clearly know nothing about what is happening in Baton Rouge.

Bamas replacements are damn good. But you can't teach experience. Which is what LSU is bringing back this year, and lots of it. Plus the pressure is on LSU. There's virtually no pressure on Bama this year. It'll be a great game, and a close one, but LSU is just bringing back too many people. Plus Mett.

LSU is not losing that game. It actually could get ugly.

Is it true, before they can do any upgrades at tiger
stadium they have to call an ask bama first, because bama owns it?

Bama record at that scary place 24-7-2

I had to respond to THIS one post.

Bama returns the same number of guys as LSU, AND Sunseri and Dial/Stinson, two of our new starters, played plenty.

Media and coaches say LSU can repeat. What does the SEC Rant think?

I think it's a toss up b/w Ark/LSU/Bama this year. I think all three have 1-2 losses and it could very well come down to Ark vs LSU to end the season.

Of course you do.

LSU and Bama can lose no more than one game, and it'd be to the other team.

Well yeah no stadium in the world matters if Team A is a lot better than Team B. But when the talent levels are similar it does matter, just ask your coach.

Bama plays at LSU and Ark. I see them losing 1 of those.

LSU breaking in a new QB, which is always tough in the SEC.

I think we win 1 of our 2 vs Bama/LSU. Don't see why this is so far fetched

The same number of returning starters, yes. Who LSU has returning, is what makes me thing LSU gets the edge. Also who we don't have returning helps. (JJ/JL) it's going to be a battle, but LSU has the edge this year IMO.

Eta: and LSU has non starters returning too who had tons of playing time. Every running back actually.

Because I think that LSU will beat Alabama and because it is at home and the revenge factor and sheer emotion among college kids to go with insane talent, LSU could pull away in that game? Either you don't know what a troll or a ranter is or you don't know what's happening in college football right now. Which is it?
