LSU beats Bama by a td, destroys USCe in the SECCG, then teaches Barkely a lil bit about some SEC defense! Repeating SEC champs and National Champs!

I thought it was funny. My Bama friends( which I have a ton of, lived in Decatur for 3 years in highschool) loved it.

All that 1/9 proved is that if Saban has 6 weeks to prepare for LSU after losing to them in the regular season with the complete emotional edge of being in a revenge game, he can retool things and get the job done. That scenario will never happen again, though. The sad truth for Alabama is that Saban hasn't beaten Miles in the regular season in a couple of years now. Stick the game in the middle of the season with comparable teams and Miles has Saban's number. Give Miles a decent QB against Saban and it is a game changer. I expect a much different outcome than in January.

Alabama won't even have a week off before the game. LSU will. Advantage, LSU along with the game being at home and LSU's offense being a completely different animal than what you faced last year. And, your defense will not be the same.

All that 1/9 proved is excuses 1-999, blah blah blah excuses 1000-99999 blah blah

LSU will have the greates QB ever and the greatest team ever, game is in Tiger Stadium where Bama never has won, blah blah even though Bama as out recruited LSU and return the same amount of starters except for LSU is breaking in a New QB who was stuck on the depth chart behing JJ and J Lee LSU will be soo awesome that they will not only win the Bama game but will be invited to play the super bowl winner and will win by 10+.

You nailed it son!

The only thing that makes your argument superior to mine is your ego and imagination. That's it.

Even if Mettenberger is average, LSU still has a better than average chance of beating Alabama in Tiger Stadium this year. See 2010.

Sure. Give Saban 6 weeks to prepare with the emotional pain of a loss at home in the Game of the Century and he seems to be able to do something with that. Have him play LSU without a bye week (and LSU does have a bye week) and its a different story. Heck, Bama needed overtime against Jarrett Lee as a freshman and what was a bad 8-5 LSU team to get their last win in Tiger Stadium in 2008. Before that, it was 2002.

I see nothing in your incoherent blathering that tells me that Alabama will have the advantage.

Why thank you.

Of course, in addition to drawing out the best of the Bammers, it is a legitimate topic. LSU is the defending SEC champs, after all. Many seem to have forgotten that fact after 1/9. I think they will be reminded this season as LSU brings an even better team to the gridiron.

You don't think LSU will be better this year than last year?

What is the matter with you? Do you watch any football other than Alabama's spring game over and over again?

Well LSU did go for over 200 rushing last time in tiger stadium. Hell over 200 last two games in baton rouge. Also outrushed bama @ bama last year.

Who are the other SEC teams to rush for 200+ against saban since he's been at bama?

"We've always had a top run D under saban".

What bama's run D does for all the other games of the season doesn't matter. The only thing that counts is when we square off. Since saban has been at bama LSU has outrushed them head to head in '07, '08, '10 and '11.

LSU can and will run the ball on bama.
