Ole Miss' defense is decent. Not great, but decent. Able to get a better pass rush, but the major improvement was at linebacker.

LB was a major weakness last year, which is why teams ran the ball so effectively against us.

OM D-Line has been pitiful for a while. Better play and size this year

They haven't played anyone with a pulse yet, so there's no telling how their defense is.
