same reason Ohio state hasn't dropped after winning multiple close games that shouldn't have been.

Because the pollsters think if LSU and TCU played, TCU would win?

Ohio State is much better than TCU.

It's not hard. They won their bowl game.

Texas is still one of those teams that's "pretty" on a resume. Dispite them performing the way they have recent years. What they did to them was a big bonus. Then Texas beating Oklahoma... Not saying it's justified but the voters like that kind of shite.

Polls rarely make any sense. News Flash. The top 10 should look like this
1.)A&m
2.)LSU
3.)Ole Miss
4.)MSU
5.)UF
6.)Alabama
7.)UK
8.)UGA
9.)UT
10.)Ark
11.)Ohio State

Several teams currently enjoy inflated rankings because of what they did last year, and that includes TCU and tOSU.

Agree. But based on resume, both should be ranked lower. TCU will eventually lose due to their defensive injuries. But until they do, they will be a top 5 team in AP, which means nothing anyway

You think this is how pollsters vote? That's pretty naive. Most pollsters look for losses, and bump those teams down. Then, they simply move teams up in the order they had them ranked to fill the gaps.
If you think pollsters put a lot of critical thought into it then you're wrong.

It really doesn't matter. No matter what happens with TCU, if any SEC team goes undefeated they will be in the Playoff. Heck, any SEC team with 1 loss has a 95% chance to make the playoff. Just win your games and the polls don't matter.

Oddly Enough, The computers say TCU is about right.
They also believe Florida and A&M are underrated and LSU is overrated.
I'm using the massey composite.

TCU hasn't faced a decent rushing attack and they are still giving up 180 yards a game on the ground. Fournette & Co. would put about 350 on them.

The pollsters think TCU is significantly better than Syracuse?
