Not sure bc I have not watched a whole lot of aubie games but burrow played way better then this stats his wide receivers had lead the nation in dropped passes and LSU was still run oriented. I could be wrong but I did not see nix play compare to what burrow did in 2018.

That game was less meaningful than playing UCF a few years back.

Which AU lost that one too. If only games could be more meaningful.

Yep. Nix will be better this year. It’s amazing how lowly the rant thinks of his play, considering he was a true freshman who had to play

Oregon (Neutral)
@ Florida
@ LSU
Georgia
Alabama

All of whom finished In the top ten. 2-3 record is about the ceiling of a freshman with that slate

And even though his play in the three losses was pretty bad, we were still within striking distance in the fourth quarter in all three of those games. Ultimately the defense couldn't hold through the offensive struggles.

Their 4-5 year cycle should be coming any year now. Maybe that’s why

Last year was our chance but LSU was so good and we gagged against UF and UGA.

And our own fanbase refuses to recognize the massive injuries/departures we had on OL. Last years team over preformed.

Yes and no.

Sure, looking at our overall record against a murderous schedule, I’d agree that we did better than expected.

But our inability to win games we absolutely should have (UF and UGa) combined with our epic collapse in the bowl left me disappointed.

We should have had 10 wins at the very minimum.
