Well if you are going to base it off of external circumstances, then SOS has to be a part of it and we have that one by a mile. Which feeds into those numbers. Just a thought. This thread should die off anyway ...

He is so good that there will be thousands of poor male children graduate Alabama High Schools in 2031 named "Lacy."

Honest answer? Yeldon takes over the starting job around game five or six. Lacy is solid, but Yeldon is on an entire different level. I have feeling Bama fans will be loving them some Yeldon the next three years.

LOL Lacy is a junior and has averaged more 7 YPC on his 130 carries, and before anyone says they were garbage carries, I'll state the fact that last year in the first quarter even, Lacy averaged almost a yard and a half more per carry than Trent Richardson did.People are really selling Lacy short, he is gonna explode this season if he can stay healthy, and if healthy will no doubt be our main back and should get over 250 carries.
Yeldon looked great in the spring game, but it was a spring game and he was playing against our second and 3rd team defense.I'm sure Yeldon will eventually be great for us but he's a true freshman, no way he becomes our starting or main rb this year unless Lacy gets hurt, not a knock on Yeldon but Lacy is a great RB and is way more experienced.

Any Alabama fan will say this!

Lacy is very good. I don't like the way he seems to shuffle his feet when he runs and I keep waiting for someone to knock his teeth out coming out of that spin move. He runs differently than Ingram or Richardson.
My guess is that he'll do well and that any success he has will be attributed to a great OL. Unless, of course an obscene amount of his yards come after contact like the other two.

Says the LSU fan. Let's talk about METTsiah some more.
I could be mistaken but I think Eddie 'circle button' Lacy got more snaps in the BCS Championship game than Mett has his whole career?!

He isn't bad, but I wouldn't trade our backs outside of a few for him..

LSU beat Alabama 1 out of 2 with probably the worst QB to ever put on a LSU uniform. Most Tiger fans saw the train wreck coming when Miles gave up on Lee. He never liked Lee and couldn't wait to bench him. Even though he was leading the conference and was playing extremely well. Saban didn't give up on his guy after a few mistakes and he wasn't looking over his shoulder. That bull is gone this year. We won't have the foolishness to worry about. We out rushed Bama with the box totally stacked. This year if they stack the box, they will get burned. Say what you want but the Tide has one coming to them. Yeldon, Lacy it won't matter. The Tide is nothing but a road bump this year.

With the option...without the option you didn't do shite.

I would trade a passing game for what you call an option any day. You are not inferring that our Quarterback was good at running the option are you. That part of his game was as bad as his passing. We will see.

I'm just waiting for Lester to pick Mett's first pass attempt off. It'd be funny as hell.
Les : Put in Jord- shite.

13 games 77 att 337 yds
9 games 17 att 96 yds
Lacy when the game is tied or within 7 points:
12 att 32 yds
Lacy's carries when the Tide was trailing:
0 att 0 yds
Look Look! McFadden never finished with a higher ypc than Jones. That must mean Jones is universally better than McFadden.
DMC
Felix
Looks like Peyton Hillis posted the same ypc avg as McFadden in 2007. He must be just as good as DMac, too.

If you ask any Bama fan (say it to yourself in a thick redneck accent) "He's the best runnin back in the SEC since Herschel Walker."
If you ask anyone else. "He is a good back, who probably doesn't quite have the potential that Richardson did, but is probably capable of playing like Ingram."

I think if you read back through this thread, that's what nearly all of the Bama fans have said.

Doubtful. You delusional fricks think any human that walks into the city of Tuscaloosa is destined for a Heisman and every player for every other team is not as good.
