played on a loaded team with incredible WR talent and was benched.

I was hoping he’d be a Hog due to his connection to Morris but is he actually any good?

Jalen Hurts...maybe not as good of a passer.

What incredible WR talent was that?

Thought you referencing the previous year where he didn’t have much at all.

As for this year, eh. Bryant most likely knew T-Law was incoming and regressed under the stress of knowing he’d never keep his job unless he played at an MVP like Russell Wilson level.

I don’t know honestly, but I bet Clemson loses to TAMU without him.

He's not that good. He's not bad, but not amazing.

HE will be a better James Franklin for us. Faster. More explosive.

Which will fit just fine. Mizzou will be a run first offense next season which Ian probably what Dooley wants.

Clemson with its WR length and speed this year was most def becoming a lass first O. That’s not a Bryant speciality imo which is why the O scuffled with him. At least that’s what I assume since Clemson’s best bet early in the season was to develop a nasty pass attack to take advantage of Bamas weaknesses.

Bryant was never gonna remain a starter with the arm talent on the bench.

If he can hit the intermediate routes over the middle and hit some decent PAs deep, Mizzou may have a more consistent O next year not totally reliant on Locks deep ball plays.

This 2017 Pass Ditribution Chart Sums things up nicely when he started every game:

Kelly Bryant Pass Distribution

You we see he is not a deep ball threat and Alabama saw the same thing when we played them last year and got spanked. He is a dink and dunk QB that had NFL level WR's to throw to

Here this years QB Comparison through 4 games to Trevor Lawrence:

KB Vs TL

Bryant is the QB that beat A&M earlier this year - they don't win that game without him

I'm not sure I buy that because your WR's were making some of the most insane catches I have ever saw!

But even if that's true, Kelly Bryan never grew beyond that game and as you can see, the Trevor Lawrence that play in this game was vastly different by the time KB quit. Lawrence only play part time in a few games before this.

Game manager. He works with a talented team. Will fail at Mizzou.

He is DJ Shockley. Good college player. Maybe a 3 year pro.
Not a guy who will carry a championship caliber team.

Maybe...Lawrence did throw a TD in his first pass against aTm. In a rundown of his playing time in the game...Lawrence didn't see any action until the 3rd series (2nd quarter). He played a total of 13 plays in the game, and finished 5/9 55% for 93 yards (10.33 ypa) and 1 td with 0 ints.

It's hard to tell how he would have done, after only seeing 13 plays.

Most of Lawrence yardage against A&M was off of one play - the touchdown. It wasn't until Clemson switched over to Bryant that they began to make headway in the second half

Well, he couldn't beat out a true freshman, so he pouted.

Clemson would have rolled A&M with Lawrence at the end of the year.
