How Far Away is Auburn from Tennessee Territory?

If Gus doesn't turn things around this year? Basketball and Baseball are gonna suck for a few more years. Women's sports are doing well but I mean who really cares about them if we're being honest?
How far are we from falling over the edge a la Tennessee? Can we save ourselves from following them into irrelevancy?

Trajectories were spot on this year for Auburn. I expect similar results for Tennessee.

Dude, I'm sorry Auburn was never in UT territory. Correlations to schools vary on what sport you're talking about. In football UT is closest to Bama.
AU, LSU, UGA correlate pretty well.
I guess if you talk about swimming you got UT. The big 3, depends on the sport.
Basketball, outside of the Barkley-Person years, AU doesn't have much to show for it. Had that brief team in 99 or 2000 but they didn't do much postseason but neither has UT.
