A&M fans joking about money that they'll never have or have access to and comparing it to other universities is the saddest thing I've ever seen. Y'all actually feel like all of that money somehow impacts you.

aTm got all dat endowment money and no titles since the 1930s. Money can't buy you class, and sure as hell can't buy you a title

Unfortunately many of my coworkers and friends are Aggies and I shite you not, they talk about their endowment about once a week. I've never seen anything like it. What do I say to that? Congrats?

LA has gone bankrupt trying to keep students in state. The athletics department has leveraged the state funding to excel in athletics (TOPs). LSU has a built in advantage that no other school in the SEC has and they still aren't getting the job done.

U do know endowments are for scholarships right. You can not just dip into this fund to payoff a coach etc?

Exorbitant salaries? 5-10 hours a week?
Ironic post is ironic.

I'm not sure what's funnier, listening to Aggy always talk about University endowments on sports message boards or the lack of comprehension of what an endowment actually is, by the rest of the folks in this thread.
Anyway, go hogs, BTH out of aTm.

You guys do all understand what endowments are, right? They are specific gifts for specific purposes. The gifts (corpus) cannot be touched. The earnings off those gifts are what pay for scholarships, projects, etc (whatever the endowments purpose is).
And in 95% of all cases endowments are operated by the University foundation (at a public college), not the University themselves. Those foundations are individual non profit entities, not governments.

Do endowments enhance your chances of making a Big 6 Bowl game?

Is coal doing that much better? Alabama has a lot of land with coal mineral rights. The endowment is back up.

No link? No dates? LOL.
The UF amount doesn't look right if you are talking about endowment only or endowment plus assets of the foundation.
You are either too high or too low for UF as of 2015.

The Texas A&M system makes no distinction between College Station and the other universities under the same name. They all share the same endowment fund.
Don't most systems? I'm not sure why breaking the main UA campus out of the UA System matters.

Galveston and Qatar share the same name. The rest of A&M's system does not.
