Heres where your gonna find out opposite, Texas owns any conference, Put OU in SEC and they will run while Texas conquers
I wanna go back to big 12 they'll say soon. Texas wains everything and were a joke here. OU is a joke anywhere besides big 12

There have been 81 games in the Red River Shootout since the end of WW2 (1945).
OU Leads by 2 in this time frame.

Real Texans are some of the best folks on earth. They don’t feel the need to brag or boast.

Your right, your a good man and i love state of Florida so much im moving there soon. Tell me, is weather in Jacksonville still warm in winter? I want north florida somewhere. As you dont brag about best state in country, Austin is good but entire state wise Florida takes cake.
I gotta stay a horns fan though. Much respect

It is pretty nice in N Fla in the winter but it can get pretty chilly when a front comes through. S Fla stays warmer, but it is getting way too crowded down here.
I’m in the Keys now, but I live in Dallas.

I was coming South on 987 or Krome Ave down to the Keys and when I went past the light on 41 (Tamiami Trail) there was an official green and white sign that said Alligator Alcatraz >
Cracked me up that they put that name on the official road sign rather than Dade-Collier detention center, or whatever.

The SEC dominance is already not nearly what it was just a few years ago.
A big part of that reason is orange.
They've literally been the cancer that has taken down 2 conferences already...all why incessantly crowing about how incredible they are.
It used to be funny to say all there is in Austin is steers and queers and I don't see many horns....but now they think that's a compliment.

Sounds like Texas kick arse and takes names, becomes king anywhere they go and makes teams run, cry and wine to me

That's a little rich coming from an Arkansas fan.
Arkansas leaving the SWC contributed as much to its demise as anything Texas did. Honestly, the league was doomed as soon as the NCAA lost its ability to negotiate college football TV rights. It was 8 schools in Texas plus UA. The state of Texas was big in population even back then, but it wasn't big enough for network executives. 4 of those schools were small private schools. UH was a smallish commuter school. Texas Tech was a regional college far away from any population center. A&M was still on its way to becoming the behemoth enrollment institution it is today. In some ways UA was the key to giving it any kind of relevancy.
But Frank Broyles saw the writing on the wall and took the golden handcuffs to head to the SEC and lose all relevancy in football for forever more, in exchange for having a competitive athletic department budget.
Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri, and A&M all took better deals at other conferences rather than stay in the Big 12. There wasn't anything UT was going to be able to do to change the population numbers in the Big 12 area.
I don't actually care about SEC success. I just care about Texas' success. The move has been great for us, so I'm glad the SEC exists that we could come in and start running things. How it affects the rest of you is not actually my problem.

Austin’s ten percent is what is ruining the other 90% of the state. Liberal assholes. Austin is a shithole example of liberal socialism ruining a formerly good city.

And yet everyone is still moving to Austin
