State played their best game of the conference slate last night. Every game is winnable except for maybe Tennessee. State had a lead in all but 1 game so anything can happen.

Ado is really stepping up his game. That is a huge difference from where we were at the start of the season.

Peters seems to have his head in a better place. When he distributes the ball, we are a much better team.

The team was really frustrating to watch in December. Now, not so much.

Reggie Perry could really help Ado's game next year. Another legit big to help out in the paint would be huge

It will be interesting to see a line-up with Ado at the 5, Perry at the 4, and Holman at the 3. Holman at the 3 is a match-up nightmare for any team.

How many Women's Basketball regular season games are there? I'm guessing like 31-0?

State's chances at making the NCAA would be significantly better if they would have held onto a 13 point second half lead on Auburn and a late 10 point lead at Ole Miss.

They also had chances to win at Alabama and at Kentucky.

But with just those two, they would be 18-4, 6-3 and everyone would have a much different outlook on them.

Right now, the RPI is at 61. Looking solid for the NIT. I think it would need to be top 40 to get into the NCAA Tournament.

All five home games are possible wins. Going 4-1 is a good possibility Then you have to go 2-2 on the road. That would put State at 22-9 (10-8) and an RPI around 38. That's squarely on the bubble and almost exactly where Vanderbilt was last year and they got in.

Seven of their last nine games are against the bottom seven teams in the league. 6-3 isn't completely out of the picture.

Right now, they'd be the 6 seed in the SEC Tournament. Good turnaround for a team that hasn't finished better than 11th in the conference since 2012.

I like y'all better vs both Vandy and Ole Miss, but @Vandy is a hard place to win and they haven't been playing as bad lately. And Ole Miss is a better team than their record indicates and in a rivalry you never know.

I think State surprises everyone in the back half of the schedule and gets into the tourney. We are playing a lot better since choking a 13 point lead on Auburn in the 2nd half. MSU has the #1 rated PPG defense in the SEC.

I think MSU could literally lose every game, or actually win every remaining game. Of course, both things will not happen, but the conference is strange this year. Auburn is the only stand out team so far, but not dominant, and there is no garbage team.

Agree with you. Glad to see our team improving but one game at a time. You saw Bama come crashing down to earth losing to Mizzou after beating Okie. Developing consistency in the league is very difficult. Stringing together some wins would be huge for us. Right now, I just want to defeat UGA on Saturday.
Last night’s win at USCe was a big one for us though.
