Ole miss does have some hot girls but so does state. We get a bad rep because we are a farm school. I had a lot of fun in Starkville.

Mississippi really is the "people's school" of Mississippi, meaning, they accomplish their goal of educating their own. Unfortunately, and let's not split hairs here, it's a fact Mississippi is dead last in the Union in education. Therefore, the admission standards to MSU is slightly above possessing a pulse. On their website, it states in plain English that a 700 out of 1600 on the SAT and a 2.0 in HS is automatic acceptance.
IN State's defense, blame it on the State legislature, not the college itself. Simply bringing a pencil is good enough in their minds to go to college. Those kids tend to drop out quickly though.

Guess I can give my perspective on it.
I was raised in an Ole Miss family, attended many games during my childhood.
Became a State fan sometime around the age of 12 after going to a couple games. To be honest, just liked the people better. Starkville really does have your salt-of-the-earth folks.
Before you say I'm some poor redneck... I grew up in a wealthy family. Was sent to a typical rich kid private school. The majority of my friends went to Ole Miss.
Not all Rebel fans are the snobby, stuck-up type but a large portion of them are. It's the whole flaunting your wealth (or trying acting like you have some) that I cannot stand.
