He's a good WR who benefited from playing with a QB who had arguably the best season for a QB in Power 5 history. I don't put him in the same league as OBJ or Jarvis Landry or Michael Clayton or Julio or Amari or AJ (Green or Brown) or Mike Evans or Ridley or Jeudy. Chase is a Reuben Randle-level talent who played with a great QB.

Imagine being dumb enough to say this

And this

Diggs still has charred flesh from his encounter with Chase.

Joe Burrow was 100% the reason Ja’Marr Chase succeeded this season and all you tiny little cajuns know it.

Pretty sure I’ve seen you argue Burrow was only good because of Brady and the talent around him. So which is it? Is no one really that good because that seems, well, impossible given the results.

Randle was an elite talent who gave zero effort which is why he’s no longer employed as a football player. Chase is an elite talent who has the exact opposite attitude.

A lot of elite guys flame out in the NFL. That's really no slight against Reuben.

He was better than Josh Reed all things considered. His stats would’ve been better if Rohan had had anyone else to throw to.

You mean like Michael Clayton? Myers and R Royal were decent also.

Try again. There’s been like 4 Alabama WR since Julio Jones that have made jokes for QBs look like absolute terrors on the football field at times because they were that good. Joe Burrow was 100% the reason Ja’Marr Chase succeeded this season and all you tiny little cajuns know it.

If we are going all the way back to Julio, Alshon and AJ he’s WAY down the list.

Read some of the scouting reports on him. Laziness and work ethic were always prevalent with him. And it followed him to the NFL. But make no mistake about it, Randle was plenty talented. He just never seemed to love football and that’s ok.

I said what I said. Chase is a good WR but in my opinion he's not one of the best recent SEC WRs.

Better than Jeudy and Smith though obviously.

Unless you think Burrow is a good bit better than Tua.

Huh? Y'all LSU fans are insecure and funny style as hell. I feel sorry for y'all. To win a national championship a few weeks ago and still be miserable.

I’m not the one making outlandish claims. Chase had 470 more receiving yards and 6 more TDs than Jeudy

Greatest of all time in the SEC. I dare say made Julio Jones look like a scrub and I didn’t think that was possible

Take off the purple glasses... Ja'Marr is a real talent but no one since Julio or AJ or OBJ etc... has made ANY of those guys appear as "scrubs". SMH

Well I guess everyone is entitled to have an opinion, as ignorant as it may be.

20 TDs and 1500 yards will put him in any conversation for one of the best seasons ever. Let’s see how he does next year before we call him one of the best college WRs. With that said, he’s good. He’s fast, runs good routes and catches contested passes really well. Chase made a huge difference against Clemson. Once they realized Venables was calling man on the edge, they told Chase to beat his man. The rest is history.
